Mend My Broken Heart
Heart heavy, I realized this was a younger version of myself, representing the dreams and aspirations I'd left behind over the years.
Approaching the apparition, I gently said, "I'm sorry. Life... life changed me. But I promise to hold onto our dreams, to cherish the love we've found."
As I spoke, the shadowy figures began to disintegrate, their whispers fading into nothingness. The forest, sensing the shift in emotions, responded in kind. The ominous fog retreated, revealing the path ahead.
Still, the colossal heart in the clearing pulsated, the pendant's half calling out to me.
