He spat, and I placed my palms on my chest just to specify that I was worried. "I'm just concerned, you're the only friend I have." He pulled a sober face and then burst into laughter. "You're weird, you know that, right? You're cringing me out with those eyes," he said and then shook his head. "Joker," I commented, kicking my feet at the edge of the desk. And as he smiled, his eyes crinkled just like Aurora's, as if they were already an old married couple. Seeing Heath standing beside Aurora, so naturally holding her waist and whispering sweet nothings, with Aurora's face all pink as she cuddled up to him – it was nothing like the fierce Aurora from moments ago.
