The way Isabelle's body was responding to his movements was so sweet, so perfect, as always… even better. At that point, while he was sinking even more into her while reuniting his spirit with that of the woman he loved, Shawn realized that heaven could come out of hell, that from pain happiness could be born, that from death one could come back to life. Nothing was impossible for two souls so profoundly in love. There was still so much love to be done, to be found in their hearts and it would have been there for all eternity. - THE END -

And it spread. Through cities, through islands, through every place touched by the storm, the message moved. “They’re here.” “Heaven has sent them.” “Pray.” Screens lit up across the country. News channels broke into live coverage, cameras focused on the storm, on the ocean, on the two figures standing above it. Millions watched. Many prayed. Above the sea, Kaelith glanced downward, his expression shifting slightly. “They’re staring.” Aurelian remained still. “They are witnessing.”

"Please, Rainie, we were wrong before. We shouldn’t have believed that monster!" "As long as you can save my wife, I’ll give you everything I own!" I let out a quiet sigh. "Come with me." I brought them back to my place in the mountains and handed out the holy water I had prepared earlier. "Take this back and have your wives drink it. In three days, the children in their wombs will return to normal." I paused, then added coldly, "But remember this, during those three days, they must not be injured or bleed. And they must not look into a mirror. Otherwise, the ghost infants can confuse their minds and consume them completely."

"Oh, hush. It’s your birthday. The world might be a mess, but today, we celebrate you. No exceptions. I took a sip of the tea, the fragrant steam warming my face. "We should… we should say a prayer," I suggested, the thought coming to me with sudden urgency. We needed a shield for today, a bubble of divine protection amidst the circling sharks. Becky nodded immediately, her playful expression softening into one of solemnity. She reached out and took my free hand, her grip firm and reassuring. I closed my eyes, bowing my head. He approached both warriors and used magic to mark a little praying-for-blessings sign on the back of each man's right hand. The crowd remained silent throughout the process. I could feel some glances directed at me. Leaving a praying-for-blessings sign on the back of a warrior's right hand was how Alphas showed their appreciation for their right-hand Betas. Understandably, my father's actions indicated that he had high expectations for this battle, with the victor likely becoming the right-hand Beta of the next Alpha. Lost in thought, I was startled as a hand was placed on my shoulder. "What are you thinking about? You look so cranky," Lux, the owner of the hand, sat down next to me.

Heaven’s POV I reach across the table and grab Sydney’s hand. “Syd, listen to me. Why don’t we just ask Damien to help? I'm sure he can make one phone call and Laurent will be begging to come back.” Sydney’s eyes widen. “No. Heaven. I’ll look like...like I’m using him.” “You wouldn’t be using him,” I say softly. “You’d be asking your brother for help. That’s what family does.”

Kendra paused for her name. “Belle. Belle Del Valle.” “Alright, Belle. How long have you had them?” “A m-month ago? W-Wait why?” For a moment, all of them felt relieved and gathered near Belle. “Belle, you are our only hope to escape this place,” Jay placed a hand on her shoulder. “What do y-you mean?” She stuttered when he looked at her directly in the eyes. “For the sake of these children,” Jay glanced at the innocent angels at the corners and back at her. “Are you willing to do a binding with a demon?” “I’m sorry?” Her voice cracked.

Aaliyah tells him, her voice was a little shaky. “You should also know that she is blessed by the Moon Goddess. She has powers that can bring plants to life in any spot. A direct link to the Moon Goddess herself and both wolves glow. Felan has found her mate, but just doesn’t know it yet. Neither will know until much later when it is time.” Mack continues. “It is also Felan’s plan that I am about to tell you. We don’t have much time and I know I have just hit you all with a bombshell but I really need you all to listen and focus if we are going to pull this off.”
