he said finally. His Aunt smiled in relief, and Cedric wondered if he truly was ready for the responsibility of being the Duke of Springbrook…. If he decided to accept the inheritance. My Wife, the Iron Lady

My Wife, the Iron Lady

Eden observed him briefly before looking away. He was attractive, but the violent aura around him was palpable. He was also a Born Living Venom, so she had no interest. Alain noticed Eden's reaction, and a faint smile played on his lips. But his smile quickly faded as he turned to the man opposite him. "Long time no see, Terry." He then looked at Eden and introduced him in a gentle tone, "Let me introduce you. This is Terry Wheeler, scion and heir to the Wheeler family." "I see," Eden replied, glancing at Terry before returning to her texts, her tone indifferent.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

The Lycans' Obsession: Chasing Our Rogue Queens

The Lycans' Obsession: Chasing Our Rogue Queens

“Let me properly introduce myself. I am Herod, the twin brother of Crown Prince Harad, the mate of Cissy. I returned today to collect my godson, the young future monarch. To add to a surprise, I've also been bestowed with the honor of being Taylor's eldest daughter's godfather, Herthia." In a fleeting moment, her eyes sparked with joy before returning to sorrow. “I'm Eden Mancini, a midwife by profession,” she whispered. “I'm a lone wolf now, before I belonged to the Paxton pack. Before things got out of hand with me, I left there to relieve them of the obligation to kill me. I don't want to leave my pack feeling guilty because they had no choice but to eliminate one of their own." Goodness!

Contract Marriage, The King’s Pretend Wife

Contract Marriage, The King’s Pretend Wife

“Please, speak.” My father, King Edward, who was just as curious to hear what his younger brother had to say, placed his hands on the table and followed the conversation. “As you know, your father’s fourth cousin, King Abel of Soliste, has been trying to put a claim on this throne, and seeing as you are twenty-six and have yet to produce an heir—“

Blood Heir

Blood Heir

I continued, voice steady despite the knot tightening in my chest, “what would’ve happened?” He didn’t answer immediately. “That’s not something the council knows either,” he said finally. “But if I had to guess…” His voice lowered. “You wouldn’t be standing here.” A chill crawled up my spine. “Possession?” I asked. “Ascension,” he corrected. “Which is just possession with prettier language.” I swallowed. “Then she’ll try again.” “Yes.” “When?” Rael’s gaze flicked upward, toward the pale sky. “Soon.” The pendant pulsed faintly in agreement.

His Heir Was a Lie

His Heir Was a Lie

She stumbled up from the sofa, grabbed his arm with both hands, and shook her head frantically. “Damian, listen to me. I did this for you. I did this for the pack.” I let out a short, humorless laugh. Every head turned toward me. “For him?” I said. “You mean you found another man’s child and tried to pass it off as the Vale heir?” Selene flinched as if I had struck her. The elders did not. Their anger came all at once. “Do you understand what fraud against the bloodline means?” Cedric Vale thundered.

world she once fled was about to introduce that child to the entire planet. She glanced down at Lucian who sat beside her on one of the long chairs, swinging his legs and examining the toy dragon he had insisted on bringing with him. The boy seemed fascinated by the enormous room and the busy adults moving around him. “Mama,” he whispered, tugging gently at her sleeve, “are all these people here for a meeting?” Seraphina forced a calm smile. “Yes.” Lucian’s eyes widened slightly as he studied the room again. “That is a very big meeting.” Lysander watched the exchange from across the room. Something deep in his chest tightened when he looked at the boy. Lucian had his eyes. The same sharp sh
