Nine Ungrateful Sisters

Nine Ungrateful Sisters

If the test failed, he would die for nothing. "Amara, is this the heir you chose for your family?" Oscar clicked his tongue softly and patted Shadow's broad head. "Shadow would make a better heir than that. At least he doesn't run from things he's too scared to face. Isn't that right, Shadow?" Shadow barked twice on cue, as though he had understood every word. Amara's fists clenched so tightly that her knuckles ached. 'How dare he? How could our blood run so thin?'

And somewhere beneath the soil, a new seed began to stir, waiting for the rain, waiting for the light, waiting to become something more. The heir had planted her tree. And now the next heir would do the same. THE END

Ruining Draco

Ruining Draco

the heir to La Casa delle Ombre, the shadow syndicate that ruled the city’s underbelly. From Enzo, I heard he was the eldest son, destined to inherit the throne of darkness. My mind flared with images of him from the news... headlines about mysterious disappearances, rumors of his involvement in high‑profile assassinations. Even from a distance his presence was an anchor, a gravity that pulled every nervous breath from those around him... including me.

Bound To The Shadowed Heir

Bound To The Shadowed Heir

Servants lined the corridors, whispering as I passed. “She’s actually going through with it…” “The poor girl…” “The Devil’s Heir will eat her alive…” I kept my eyes forward. When we reached the tall doors, Father gripped my elbow again. “Head high,” he whispered harshly. “Make me proud for once.” The doors swung open. Hundreds of eyes turned to me. The hall smelled of incense and fear. At the far end stood Prince Darius Blackthorn. He was taller than I expected, dressed in black with gold threading that caught the light. His face was like stone, dark hair falling over sharp features. Those eyes watched me with no warmth at all.

Shadows of the Lost

Shadows of the Lost

He just had this tendency to be so arrogant that irked Briane so much he desired nothing more but to fight him one-on-one. “Shadows are being that are hard to control. It’s a creature you can’t just get by waiting for it to come to your doorstep,” Mr. Heirt was saying, walking back and forth in front of them, wearing a cloak with golden threads, addressing them as though they’re kindergarten. “To be linked with your shadow, you must train; otherwise, your shadow’s overwhelming power will dominate you, and you’ll say goodbye to this world.”

Probably the most challenging story I have written. With about 5 drafts and two years of crafting, it’s my longest work. It’s thrilling. I revisit it sometimes and, he, even I get overwhelmed and awed. I mean, it feels like I’m not the one who wrote it.

I love the world building of this novel! Even when you’re only in chapter one you can already see how the author meticulously planned the settings of the story. It’s descriptive so even if the world is new and unfamiliar the readers could still easily imagine what it’s like.

Bound by faith : the rise of a rejected mate

Bound by faith : the rise of a rejected mate

I stepped up and demanded. The shadows remained silent. Rather, they vanished into thin air, leaving a spooky hush. Damon turned to face me with a sombre gaze. What does "the heir" imply to them?" My thoughts were racing as I shook my head. "I'm not sure. But it's coming for us, whatever it is. With the message of the shadows bearing down on us, the room became quiet. I glanced down at my arm's luminous symbol, which pulsed with light like a heartbeat. The answers we needed seemed farther away than ever, and time was running short.

The Haven Of Shadows

The Haven Of Shadows

And when predators studied their prey… It meant the hunt was coming. But I, Alejandro Bloodfang, had never been prey. And if the Watchers wanted to test the strength of the Haven of Shadows… Then they would soon learn something important. This territory was no longer just a refuge. It was becoming something far more dangerous. A place bound by choice, protected by blood and anchored by an heir the world had not yet begun to understand.

THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA

THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA

“I carry your child Cassian. Your blood. If you kill me the line ends with you. You need this heir. Your people the Shadows demand strength and continuity. Without an heir you lose everything you have clawed back.” I stopped a few paces away and studied her. The words hit their mark. She spoke the truth about one thing. The Shadows respected power sealed in blood. A living heir born of my seed would grant me the authority I had lost after years of whispers and challenges. But she did not know the full depth of my plan. I did not want a son to raise or a daughter to cherish. I wanted a vessel. A pure sacrifice still warm from the womb offered on the ancient altar to bind the dark forces that

The Heir's Secret Obsession

The Heir's Secret Obsession

The sky stayed black and unhelpful as my breathing grew shallow. "Miles?" I wrapped my arms around myself and peered around the grass-covered space. My skin just hated the bitingly cold horror-movie ambience of this place. To my utter confusion and horror, the paths diverged into more mazes. Darn. This thing didn't end! Did anyone see me walking into this labyrinth? The security staff? Or one of the maids? Moonlight was sparse in this side of the lot. Shadowed hedges towered over me by at least four feet. How did I even end up trapped in this creepy old maze? I was just trying to find him.

Twice Marked,Twice Loved

Twice Marked,Twice Loved

Levi, bloodied and defiant, staggered to his feet nearby, the anchor portal flickering behind him like a dying star. The woman—Future Autumn, or whatever deception she embodied—smiled, a cruel twist of lips that mirrored Autumn's own. "Not a lie, past self. A warning. A destiny." Her voice echoed with the legacy's timbre, silver light corrupted into something oily and black, threading through her words like poison. She gestured to the clones, their faces shifting—her mother's gentle eyes now void, her father's stern jaw twisted in rage, Nathaniel's smug grin leering from multiple bodies. "I am what you become when the power consumes you. The Shadowed One isn't a monster from the void—it's us
