Hunters: The Prequel

Hunters: The Prequel

As the heir to the law of order, the eternal throne should not be capable of controlling two laws- edict and time. "Under normal circumstances, no he shouldn't have such an ability. But he does. Reiki wasn't chosen as heir for no reason. Even without the Book of Order's power, Reiki is mighty powerful in his own right. Back then, he was one out of four other origin artefacts that could stand toe to toe with the Book of Order and the Chaotic Flames. Reiki didn't really inherit the power of order. The Book of Order still has its control over this elusive law intact, yet it isn't a monopoly. What Reiki did was to study under the Book of Order for millions of years, through time stop of course,

I hope that’s not the end end. So many left off pieces of the story all his friends on the other world, all the other gods story lines, he’s only used his blood born weapons and armour twice. Hasn’t even made it out of dreamscape yet. Still have everything in true verse going on while he “asleep”

Triple Temptation

Triple Temptation

"The Heir needs a catalyst. A heart that has been emptied is the perfect vessel for my return. And you, Rhea... you are the cradle that is finally falling." A sudden, sharp contraction tore through Rhea’s abdomen, making her arch her back and scream. The glass-like skin of her stomach was glowing so brightly it was translucent. She could see him. The Heir. He wasn't a baby anymore. He was a curled, terrifying shape of pure shadow, his fingers elongated and clawed, his head crowned with jagged obsidian horns. He was pushing. He was fighting to be free of the flesh that had held him. "I can't... I can't do this alone," she wheezed, her silver veins pulsing with a violent, violet light.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

she said, he nodded and kept it back in his pocket, he brought out his books with a frustrated look, his life just kept getting complicated..... The backyard of the house belonging to the town mayor swirled as a dark ring ripped open in the fabric of time, it rotated in an anticlockwise manner.

HEIR OF PAIN

HEIR OF PAIN

His fingers turned the page slowly and deliberately, as if forcing himself to focus. Even though they’re gone… I’ll still make them proud, he thought. His parents’ faces flashed in his mind. Memories that felt too far away, yet burned too close in his heart. He clenched his jaw and whispered under his breath, “I’ll make you proud. No matter what.” With that quiet vow, he bent over the book, forcing his focus into the lines of text. ~~~~~~~Few Hours Later~~~~~~ He didn’t realize how much time had passed until he glanced toward the window. Darkness had taken the sky which indicate it's nighttime.

The Price Of Fate

The Price Of Fate

Heir. Fear moved through me then in a different shape than before. Not abstract. Not philosophical. Immediate. If Tobias Viremont still lived, then I was not some nameless stranger who might pass through the Outlands unnoticed. I was his offspring. His heir. The child my mother took from him and carried back across the barrier. A stolen claim. A missing bloodline. Something more dangerous than I had ever imagined myself becoming.

The Wolfless Omega & The Alpha King

The Wolfless Omega & The Alpha King

Because of what the connection whispered next. The Lost Heir has returned. The words echoed through every part of me. Lost Heir. Not Eighth Heir. Lost. Which meant... The Well Keeper had told me the Seven Heirs were one family. If there was a Lost Heir... Then someone hadn't been added to history. Someone had been erased from it. The hooded figure slowly lifted one hand. The sky above the throne darkened. The fracture across the heavens widened. And a voice, calm enough to chill the soul, carried across impossible distances.

The Heir Wasn't Mine

The Heir Wasn't Mine

The notary's finger hovered above the keyboard for a moment. "Mrs. Fuzio." He adjusted his glasses, not daring to look straight at me. "The heir next in line needs to be present to confirm his intentions." I was confused. Christian Fuzio was an only child. His parents passed away ten years ago. We were married for 20 years with no children. "What did you say?" Before the notary could reply, the doors opened. When the boy walked in, I didn't even react. That was, until I saw his face.

Frequently Asked Questions

You know, 'The Daughter of Time' by Josephine Tey is one of those books that flips history on its head in the most fascinating way. It follows a modern detective, Alan Grant, who’s stuck in the hospital with a broken leg and bored out of his mind. To pass the time, he starts investigating the historical mystery of King Richard III—the infamous villain from Shakespeare’s play. But as Grant digs deeper, he realizes the Tudor propaganda might’ve totally slandered Richard. The book’s a brilliant mix of historical research and detective work, showing how history’s 'facts' are often just the winner’s version. I love how it makes you question everything you’ve been taught—like, what if Richard wasn’t the child-murdering monster we think he was? It’s a page-turner for anyone who loves mysteries or history.

What really got me hooked was how Grant uses modern investigative techniques to dissect medieval sources. He scrutinizes portraits, analyzes timelines, and even questions the motives of chroniclers like Thomas More. The book’s title references the Greek goddess of truth emerging from a well—'truth is the daughter of time'—and by the end, you’re left wondering how many other historical 'villains' got a raw deal. It’s a must-read for true-crime fans, even if the crime’s 500 years old.
