Helen Park Cold War Novels & Stories

Just the fact of it. Helena said thank you again. She ended the call. She stood between the two vans in the cold car park. The set was on the other side of the door. She could hear the muffled sound of people moving around. Elena Markov's voice giving an instruction. The ordinary noise of a film being made.

The dry crack of another bone breaking echoed through the space, followed by a sharp shriek that made Miller writhe against his restraints, sweat wiping gray lines through the dust on his face. I didn't blink. My thumb slid across the screen, opening the real-time monitoring app for the penthouse. The library camera focused on the study desk. Helen was sitting there, wearing a baggy gray sweatshirt. She held a small spoon, shoving chocolate ice cream into her mouth with a furrowed brow, entirely oblivious to the fact that she was being watched.

I’m just scared of what I’ll see on the tape, holding my breath as Randy played the video he took. It’s a little blurry at first, trying to focus on the pack grounds of Lone Wolf pack. I stepped forward, squinting while the camera came into focus at very last. Helen is naked, covered in blood, and stuck to a post in the middle of the village. My breath hitched, my palm smacked over my mouth to keep from going belligerent, while I sank back into the couch. The camera zoomed in closer and showed her leaning forward lifelessly, her hands crossed behind the thick, wood pole.

The two young men looked at each other and nodded, grinning. "Lead on, McDuff," Chris said. The garden would be full of smokers, so Helen grabbed Andy by the hand and pulled him through the crowded bar towards the car park. She looked behind and was glad Chris trailed along in their wake. Once outside, she looked around and headed for a dark corner between two sportscars. The car park was thankfully deserted. Helen was so desperate to feel a dick inside her that she was brave enough to have sex right here, in public. Helen looked at each of the young men in turn, still undecided which she'd let make love to her.

*** Halle *** I stay at Helen's for dinner, I end up ordering pizzas for us and 'nug nugs' for Summer and I try and get Helen to open up about what is going on with her and Alan. I have known Helen for years, we hung out in similar circles, went to the same clubs as teenagers and even went on a girl's holiday together. I was pissed off about six years ago when her husband Alan got posted to Germany and she went with him as the dutiful wife at just 19 years old. When she returned from two years living in army housing in Germany, she seemed different.

Ethan sighed deeply and said, "Liv, I can't turn back time, but maybe we could pretend nothing ever happened if you lost your painful memories." "Lose my memories? How can someone just …" "Liv, you underestimate the persistence of humans. Helen's love for Mr. Carlton was so deep that she never forgot about him even though he left her for so long. "She had been trying to develop this drug for more than ten years. "A drug that could induce memory loss without any stimulants. Helen wanted to use this drug on Mr. Carlton so that he could forget about Ms. Parker and love her for the rest of his life.

Then, she saw the battle scene between Torbert and Cobra Mercenaries outside. Every move was shocking for Helen. They were like scenes from a martial arts movie. "Who the hell are these people, and what do they want?" Helen didn't dare to take another look after one glance. Even from such a distance, she could feel the terrifying aura emanating from those people. It was the kind of vibes that made Helen frightened and terrified. She turned around, looked at Winifred Zea in horror, and said, "Winifred, this..." Winifred had mixed feelings about what was happening. The only thing she could think of was to hug her daughter tightly and to keep telling her that they were playing a game of hiding

Diana stiffened. The door opened. Cold air swept in. And Helen smiled. Because for the first time in a long while, She hadn’t started this war. But she intended to finish it. And whatever was left of Dakota… Would not survive her curiosity.

She ignored him, reaching for the door handle. “Helena!” Parker lunged toward her, grabbing her wrist. “They’ll know.” Her hand froze on the handle. She turned to face him slowly, her smile gone, her eyes cold. For the first time, Chief Parker realized just how dangerous Helena Valdez truly was “And what, exactly, will they know?” Parker faltered, his mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water. He took a hesitant step forward. “We’ll be exposed,” he finally managed, his voice barely above a whisper.

Somewhere inside Westbridge, someone had found a way to reach toward Helen Parker without saying Helen Parker’s name. And in Daniel Cole’s study, Leah had begun helping build the wall that might stop them.
