I went to one of my apartment and decided to stay there. Stepping into my condo I remembered where I actually came. This hell is much more scarier than my house. In this condo I can hear her screams from each and every corner. That horrible night on which I forced her and crumbled a girl's pride and dignity with my madness. Looking at the balcony itself began to give chills when that scene flashed into my mind where Nivi began to jump from there and tried to kill herself. I shut my both ears when I began to hear Nivi screaming from everywhere. I stood from couch and went to grab a bottle of whiskey.

She yanked the curtains back and saw a helicopter rising past her window, heading for the roof. Stunned, Helma watched as the chopper hovered above the building, likely touching down on the rooftop. If there is a bad decision waiting above the twentieth floor, I will find it, dress it up as necessity, and walk straight into it in heels. The floor numbers climb and my stomach climbs with them. Every soft ding feels like a countdown to something I already know I am not ready for. I try to anchor myself to physical things. The faint vibration under my feet. The hum of the machinery behind the walls. The way the elevator cable shifts weight. Anything except the image of Adrian standing somewhere above me, already calculating, already turning this night into a ledger entry in that ruthless brain of his. Elena's POV I stirred in my sleep and felt something very soft under me. It felt like I am sleeping on clouds, so soft and comfortable. I don't want to wake up. I snuggled more into the clouds to feel heaven. But then I realized that I am not into heaven but in hell. I opened my eyes to see the devil sitting on the couch with a cigarette in between his fingers. His expressions were neutral and his eyes were unreadable as always. He was looking at nothing in particular. It seems like he is planning the murder of someone.

The iron lever that had killed someone before started to move winding backward with a lot of tension.
