I lowered my hands with a sad expression, feeling hurt that they didn't even want me back. I turned to Maverick, who was struggling not to laugh and had turned around to hide his smile. "Sorry, I'll just go back and spend the rest of the time before returning," I said, turning toward the door to leave. "Who sat and watched my infant head When sleeping on my cradle bed, And tears of sweet affection shed? My Mother!" they both sang in unison, and I stopped in my tracks. "Welcome home, Mommy!" "Welcome home, honey," I also hear Maverick's voice and I turned around and saw the three of them now holding cardboard.

A certain OC-ness was triggered in Ecto because there seemed to be no layout-planning whatsoever. Lor’s belly is already as big as a basketball. She’s into her second trimester and is due on March 30. She’s carrying a baby boy and the latest agreed name is Gabriel V, the nickname being either Gabs or Gabes. The single-letter middle name has been inspired by none other than Kim Taehyung of BTS.

She's carrying my baby. I'll be with you soon, B. Wait for me, we're gonna see our baby in a few hours.

"Yes, sir?" "Where the hell are you?" Ok, there was the tone. "I've been calling the whole day and all I get is voice mail, are you avoiding my calls? Cause if you are baby girl we are going to have a problem, you are going to have a problem. Now tell me where you are." What? Baby girl? Where am I? I don't even know this street. I tried looking around out the window and ignoring the fact that he had just called me baby girl and that he was sweet-talking to me, or at least it sounded like he was.

I confessed with a laugh. "I see that mothers can only recognize their own babies," Charlotte pointed out with a light laugh. "This is Lara," she pointed to the baby in her arms. "And here is Megan," Melanie said, and the love in her eyes made it clear how much she adored her nieces. "They are adorable..." I melted with love. "And I'm not just saying that to flatter anyone here. It's the absolute truth." At that moment, one of the nannies entered the room with the third baby, and for an obvious reason, I knew it was Liam. He was crying, and I imagined it was time for his "meal," which made me smile, remembering Karen and Benjamin.

With that mischievous smile, James suddenly began touching Hana's sensitive parts fondly, "Don't forget to put on our clothes first, baby." ***

I croaked, my voice barely more than a whisper, fear and excitement mingling. The nurse approached, her eyes warm and comforting. "Your baby is in the incubator, dear," she replied. "But don't worry; he's doing just fine." My heart swelled with joy and relief. "Did I deliver safely?" I asked, needing to hear the reassurance. The nurse nodded and placed a gentle hand on my shoulder. "You did wonderfully, and congratulations, you have a beautiful baby boy." Tears of happiness welled up in my eyes. Despite the whole chaos going on,knowing that I had brought a baby boy into the world still calmed my mind down and brought me relief.

Elena's fingers hovered over her phone screen, her thumb trembling as if it no longer belonged to her. The message glared back at her, black letters etched like a scar into the glowing screen. She swallowed hard. Her heart raced so quickly that she feared the baby could feel it too, her anxiety vibrating through her skin. For a moment, she wanted to hurl the phone out the car window, to let the city swallow the threat. But she knew it wouldn't matter. He would find another way. He always had.
