Hercules 10th Labor Novels & Stories

The room fell silent as everyone was waiting to hear what the two men would have to do this time. "We have a special treat for you this time. Since my bride to be is the new oracle. I would like to give a nod to the proud oracle heritage. It is said that after Hercules went mad and killed his two sons, he went to the oracle and asked what he could do to atone for his wrong doings. She sent him to his cousin King Eurystheus, where the king would set him 12 impossible tasks. Now, my friends, we do not have time for these men to complete all twelve. I would like to have my honeymoon sometime this year." The King said waggling his eyebrows, and looking back at Amaris. The vampires let ou

So, Olympus had wondered for the longest time – before these events and even more so now that these things had happened – who the strongest among the new age gods was. Was it Heracles, the son of Olympus who had made barged into the holy land with his talent alone? He who had a mortal mother and nothing exceptional to himself, but his face had braved every obstacle to appear before Zeus, claiming that he was the God King’s son. In a bid to ascertain his credentials and blood, Zeus had given him 12 Labours and sent him on his way, believing that the young boy who understood not the immensities of Olympus nor the politics that governed the sacred land, would die before reaching his 3rd Labour.

"You're strong, and you don't have to prove anything to anyone, not even your father who is dead." Hercules clung to Lilian, his body trembling as he allowed himself to be vulnerable in front of her. "But I've always tried to live up to his expectations, to be as strong as he is," he admitted, his voice filled with sadness and frustration. "You don't need to prove anything to him because he is dead, Hercules!" Lilian said but the door pulled open showing the witch. She walked towards Hercules before placing her hands on his head. The witch's touch sent a sudden surge of energy through Hercules, and he felt a strange sensation washing over him. It was as if a weight had been lifted off his sh

The quinti-breed's long red acidic tongue, splattered with black ooze, licked the side of his face and coated his hair in slime, burning him. Sage and five other warriors were the only ones remaining to engage in combat in the lab after ten warriors had been administered God-knows-what. When Sage tried to assist Heron, the creature's razor tail swept across, forcing him to roll under it. While the creature was distracted by Sage, Heron's talons sliced through its hand, amputating it. “What was that?” Sage rushed to my side while the creature stumbled back, holding his amputated hand in excruciating pain.

JD said. “Mom and Dad will be thrilled. They love the girls.” Renzo smiled and JD smiled back at him. Renzo then turned to Miko again. “What did you find in Cupid’s laptop.” “I’m still deciphering some codes and passwords but I got some information about their boss. He called himself ‘Hercules’ and it was rumored that he was on par with Black Dragon’s skills.” Miko reported. Renzo scoffed in response and glance at the now expressionless JD. “Well, let’s see about that.”

Elektris grinned and flew at him, whacking him again and another wave of energy was burning right through Hermes’s head. Hermes's head spun and managed to regain control just in time to catch Elektris’s fist in his hand. Elektris glowered at him, forcing her fist against Hermes's palm. Hermes began to feel the ring burn his skin and he cried out, willing himself to hold on. The goddess loomed over him, forcing him down. The pain grew even more. Hermes tried to hit her with his free arm but Elektris’s swiftness caught it and snapped it hard, dislocating his shoulder.

Because I don’t care how many times you go through labor—there’s always fear. And on top of everything, there’s still the prophecy. Lucifer is back, and I still haven’t told my mom. “Where are they?” I pant as the contraction eases. Hermes is quiet for a second. “On the road. About two turns from the hospital.” I nod, lean back against the pillows, and breathe. A cool cloth wipes sweat from my skin, and I smile with my eyes closed. “Thanks, love.” “You don’t have to thank me, asteráki mu,” he says gently. “You’ve got hard work ahead. I’ll do anything I can to ease it.”

He had no idea, but he found himself saying, "I can fight." She nodded, finally looking away from him. "Good." They all began talking as soon as she turned away from him, Leonidas learning their names in quick succession. Hercules, he was a Zeus Familia and from the way he spoke, a High Family. The girl on him, Aellai, Artemis, he was not sure what she was or not. Then on another log entirely, two other people, Odysseus, a Poseidon Familia and Dido, an Athena Familia.

Jove-Him I can get. Me-Tell him to tell Amanda, Watch for me by moonlight. Jove-And you humans get mad at us for speaking in riddles. As I approach I see my quarry. A dog? Cerberus? Really? Cerberus? Is my name Hercules? Cerberus? He is black with three Doberman heads. On his left fire, on his right a cliff. Behind him a tunnel shooting white light. Like a spot light. He is asleep at the moment. I know he won’t be for long. They only way to the tunnel is through him.

It seemed Hercules was a lover of black, the only part of him not black was his skin which was a rich golden hue, and his eyes were a brilliant amber color with flecks of gold that flashed as he watched them approach. I felt an instinctive urge to curl my lips and snarl out a challenge to the other Alpha, he urges an alpha telling him he must be the biggest badass predator in the room and Hercules was a serious threat to his supremacy. I stomped down hard on those urges, I was not a young, budding, and unruly alpha jockeying for position. Nothing like the foolish Colin and his ilk. I was the next Alpha King and while I might be slightly smaller than Hercules, I was not weaker.
