"Marcus usually accompanies me to handle side discussions. But since you manage my immediate itinerary now, you'll be joining us tonight."
Liana froze, her hand pausing over her notepad. "Sir?"
"You heard me," Julian said, his tone flat and unbothered. "Be downstairs by seven-thirty tonight. Wear something formal, bring your tablet, and keep track of everyone I speak to. I don't intend to stay longer than necessary."
"I... understand, Mr. Vance," Liana said, quickly regaining her composure. "I'll be ready."
