The shadow of the petrifying demon moved towards its painting, the painting of the Nun. “Lilly?” Ronny whispered. “Yeah?” I answered without taking my eyes off the screen. “Can I hold your hand?” I looked at him, disappointed, but reluctantly gave him my hand. He grasped it as if his life depended on it. Idiot! The demon shadow was now directly behind the Nun’s painting. Lifeless fingers came in view, holding the painting. I become paralyzed with fear. I no longer can hear the disney movie , all I hear is my breathing. I stare at the pair of eyes , I can't seem to break the stare. Like in a horror movie , two hands push through the opened window and take hold of the windows side panel. I begin to push myself further into my bed , using the many blankets and teddys as a shield or camouflage. Afterwards the creature , places his first foot through the window and then the second. Its finally into my room and I cower into my bed.

Haisley was startled, but she managed to suppress her scream every time the horror movie's music effects caught her off guard. Yes, despite not being brave, Haisley still enjoyed watching horror films. Because she was too focused on the character in the movie, she didn't notice the ripples in the pool. Until the creepy character appeared on her phone screen at the same time Nathan emerged from the swimming pool. Inevitably, the scream she held in burst out.
