Autumn POV I held my breath, my body tingling as my senses heightened, causing goose bumps to riddle my skin and the pounding of my chest in rhythm with the incoming steps.I try to struggle out of Kavan’s hold, but his hands do not bulge as they press against the wall beside my head, trapping me between his body and the cold stone.

He looked around the room suspicious and paranoid that the horror may have followed him here, bothered as looking around for something he recognized. " Cole." He called my name " You are okay babe, it's alright, I'm here." I hugged him " It was terrifying, I knew that watching a horror movie would be a bad idea." He started crying Ah my heart! " You are really upset!" I cooed, " It's okay. Why don't we try doing some calm breathing?" He nodded We started to breathe together then I said in a very smooth tone, " Look at your face! It's all sweaty! Should we go to the bathroom and clean you up?"

The pressure in her chest surged, sharp and unbearable, stealing the air from her lungs. Her knees buckled. One hand clawed at her breastbone, as though she could pry away the invisible grip crushing her. She gasped, trembling, her breath coming in shallow, frantic pulls. “Breathe,” she whispered to herself, though every attempt felt like drowning. And then, across the distance — she felt him. If they feed on the sound and breath, then we will starve them of it.” Vincent stared at her in disbelief before he gave a weak, bloody smile. “That’s insane,” he whispered. End it now!” But Camela closed her mouth, pressed her lips tight, and held firm. Vincent followed her action, locking eyes with her as he too held his breath. The screams raged louder, yet the chains loosened just a bit. The glow of her name dimmed slightly.

“You know your wrongs?” A desperate glimmer of hope flared in Martha’s eyes, and she nodded frantically. But in the very next instant, Kaelen’s dagger tore straight through her chest. He cast his gaze down coldly. “Then use your life to atone for them.” Ronald went entirely mad with fear, weeping and wailing as he crawled desperately toward the exit, brawling out incoherent nonsense. “Don’t kill me!
