A leather clutch purse is glinting faintly at me, catching the light like it’s barely even there, minimalist but screaming luxury.
Then, I see the shoes. Not just heels. “The Heels.”
A pair of high Louboutins. The tops are glittering black leather, but the soles... those soles are a pure, cruel red that looks like a warning.
"He really went all out, Dia," Pippa says, her voice unusually soft.
