Elara POV Vexx had outdone himself this time. As soon as we were within sight of the warehouse, we were descended upon by trolls, or ogres maybe? Whatever, all I knew is they were huge, smelly, and a product of wicked magic. It took three of us to take down one of these monstrous things. Luckily, we’d only sent one of our magic workers inside with the rescue team—or bait team, depending on how you looked at it. Claire, Grey, and I felled one of these club swinging trolls together by hitting him hard with spells on all sides. No sooner did we finish with him, then another one climbed from a crevice in the earth and roared, brandishing its studded weapon at us.

The troll grabbed his arm and twisted it until a crack was heard, followed by Kim’s painful scream. The torch he was holding dropped on the floor. “ARGH!” “Kim!” Herman jumped in and stabbed the troll in both its eyes. The troll flinched and took a few steps back, holding its bleeding eyes that still had his rapiers stuck in them. Herman discarded his weapons and got Kim out of there.

The seer fired back making everyone laugh. “Trolls are not violent dear seer, they are the same as your kind, they are not violent, but it doesn’t mean that there won’t be any rotten potatoes in a sack. Like you.” The troll elder fired back as well but before the seer could say anything else Tia chanted a spell and sealed his mouth. “You should have done that a long time ago.” The troll elder said to Tia.

Suddenly, three enormous figures rushed into the scene from different areas of the spaceship, they were giant, white-skinned giants with horrible faces, dimly human, but not really, each one being around 5 meters tall! Chaos checked their existence realms in a quarter of a second, finding that they were all SSS-Rank Troll Warriors, a humanoid and "intelligent" race of creatures with Giant Bloodline. A nice meal as well! Perhaps this could compensate for not eating the half-vampire. The three Trolls rushed towards Chaos who was too big to get inside the spaceship, as they tried to use their strength and the giant clubs they carried to hit him and get him out of the ship. They were not that big but they were rolling down like they were being thrown at them. They stopped and looked at these rocks. They rolled down until they got to them, one ran over Ambrosia’s foot making him hiss in pain. When they stopped suddenly, they popped heads and feet appeared. They were Trolls. “Apologies if we scared you, my king.” One of them said. “They were really not lying when they said you guys look ugly,” Ambrosia said making Luka laugh, and the Trolls glare at him. He was still angry about being run over by one of them.

The pack moved cautiously, alert but undeterred. After several hours of walking, the group suddenly came to a halt as a rustling sound echoed through the trees ahead. Without hesitation, they fell into defensive stances, the wolves baring their teeth and the humans drawing their weapons. Emerging from the darkness were several towering figures—trolls, their massive forms lumbering into the moonlight. Damien’s heart pounded, his body tensing as he prepared for an attack. The trolls were enormous, with thick, gray skin and long arms that swung by their sides, but instead of charging, they stopped at a distance and raised their hands in a peaceful gesture.
