The Last Female Dragon
Just as I thought Lily was about to fall asleep she asked the question I was dreading.
“Creed… you never told me why you walked out of here so suddenly this morning,” she says, rolling her body to face me.
“I- I had a nightmare,” I start to say, “it turned out to be a vision. I was scared- I didn’t want to scare you, or add to your shoulders. You’re the mother of my children- I couldn’t add any more stress onto you,” I look away, trying to build the courage to keep going, “there was a hooded figure… Behind him were piles of bodies and the ground was painted in blood. I spoke to Glenda and she said to trust in Hunter. He said it was a vision, that war is coming.”
