"This is Mycole, my best friend and Mycole meet--" "Keenan." Mycole completes and I look up at him strangely. "Sorry have we met?" Keenan asks, taken back a little. "Not really, I've seen your future though." He says almost certainly. "With her." He looks down at me and I silently gasp. Not here. "What future?" Keenan asks confused, not like I am not though. "Your future with hers are entwined together." He says like that's something everyone will understand. Of course, not everyone will understand that, especially Keenan.

I stood there watching them bounce and wobble down the dark road, speeding toward the girl they actually cared about. Twenty years with them—gone, riding off on that tricycle. "Goodbye, Nico. Arlo. Rhett." Headlights suddenly swept across the driveway. A car pulled up and stopped. The door opened and a man got out—just flown in, straight here. I smiled and ran into his arms. Zane Jordan. Heir to the Jordan family. My fiancé.

At our class reunion, my so-called best friend, Shannon Drew, pulled out a box stuffed with folded notes. A line was taped across the top— [Draw one of Mia Martinez's hopeless-romantic quotes.] The room burst out laughing. Someone pulled a love letter I'd written to Damien Byford senior year. "Damien smiled at me today. I want to give him all my tomorrows, too." Someone else grabbed one from college. "It's okay if he doesn't text back. He'll think of me when he's not busy." Damien had never replied to a single letter. I'd always figured he'd tossed them years ago. Then Shannon drew letter No. 99. Leaning against Damien, she laughed as she read, "If you ever decide you don't want m

Against the Crown. Against the Void. Against something else. A figure appeared beside her. The First One. Then the Author. Then the Devourer. All fighting. Aria watched in disbelief. "What is this?" Maelis answered: "The war that never happened." Noah frowned. "If it never happened, why can we see it?" "Because she remembers it." Maelis pointed toward the moon. "Your original self experienced every possible future." Aria looked at the moon. The crowned version nodded.

And most importantly, Zaha's writing ability was very mediocre, coupled with the randomness of the future he saw. He didn't know. But he had received the message well. Zaha swung his left hand, and a black raven appeared in his bedroom window. “Your Highness Hyacinth, I just found information about the future that the other me saw in the past.” He stared blankly at the black raven's blood-red irises. “I think… Harriet Goldlane will soon become an immortal.”

“One day Uncle Yuan Kai accidentally gained great power and was able to see into the future. We rushed back to Caihong because we thought the future that Uncle Yuan saw had really happened. However, it seems that I am starting to understand something.” "What?!" Zhou Fu gulped for a moment, took a deep breath then said. “What Uncle Yuan Kai saw, is most likely all true, however, we don't know for sure when these things will happen. Uncle Yuan saw Lord Wang Yuji die in a one-on-one duel, he also saw that Shen Shen was kidnapped by someone who was not wearing the Demon Pearl necklace, Caihong was experiencing great fire and chaos, the East Continent was on the verge of collapse. Aunt Kim said t

In the afternoon, I mysteriously receive a text message from myself seven years in the future. Thinking it's some kind of new scam, I don't even bother reading it before replying, "Get lost, scammer!" However, the sender sends a photo of an empty bottle of sleeping pills and replies, "I'm not a scammer, but I really am dying. Break up with Crystal. Today will be the first day she cheats on you. "Her first true love just returned from abroad today. His name is Reuben Knight." I'm stunned. I'm about to make fun of the scammer for lying so blatantly to me because I clearly know that I am Crystal Harper's first love. At that moment, the door behind me opens. Crystal then strides in with a m

My parents… and my brother. Dylan pulls back, noticing the smile on my lips. His eyes narrow with curiosity. “What did you see?” he asks, his voice low, concerned. Ryan steps closer, his hand warm on my back, both of them waiting for an answer. I look up at him, then over at Ryan, my eyes wide with wonder. “I... I saw our future,” I whisper, a smile spreading across my face. “And it’s amazing.” My two mates smiled down at me, "Do tell us more," Ryan added, as the two smiled happily.

The fifth star cracked. A massive wave of energy erupted from it. Every possible future appeared simultaneously. Millions of versions of our family. Millions of endings. Millions of wars. Millions of deaths. And in every single one... I was sitting on the throne. Except one. I stared at the final vision. In that future, the throne was empty. No ruler. No Guardian. No Creator. Only my family standing together. I looked at Elyra. What happens in that future? She smiled.

--- The heartbeat echoed again. BOOM. This time, it sounded like laughter. The Interworld filled with light. The Fifteenth Seal completed itself. A constellation of countless stars surrounded an open circle. Liana reached toward it. The moment her fingers touched the seal... A vision appeared. She saw the future. Not one future. Thousands. In one, the old and new universes lived peacefully. In another, they argued and fought again. In another, the Interworld became the center of a new civilization. In another, it remained only a road between worlds.
