Xavier danced with me as he picked out little conversations which I keep zoning out barely able to keep myself awake. I felt an unfamiliar tingling piling up in my guts. Oh shit! “Lyra” I hear Sage call out my heart dropping at the way his tune sounded. Sage slips his hands through my waist drawing me to him possesively, like I was his price jewel he didn’t want to lose. His action made my back crash to his dominating figure, as his grip gutted tighter on my waist, urging me to bite on my lower lip. “Get to the car” he mumbled to my hearing while he sent glares at Xavier.

Slick marble stairs, covered with an expensive Persian rug. "Julia, please, I'm pregnant..." "With MY child!" Her eyes flashed with a mad light. "Maybe... maybe I don't need a surrogate after all!" Her foot shot out. My world tilted. Time stopped. I saw the vicious satisfaction in her eyes as her lips formed two words: "Goodbye, vessel." Then I was falling, tumbling down the stairs. A sharp, ripping pain tore through my belly. I couldn't get air. Then, a warm gush down my legs.

"You are going to be my surrogate, Alysia. Whether you like it or not." "I will rather die," I retorted. There was a pause for a while as we both stared fiercely into each other's eyes. No one would believe that I was the same person who enjoyed his touch a while ago. "You would rather die?" He scoffed. I didn't reply. I just gulped down saliva. "Don't worry," he said. "I would arrange for that.' I spat at his direction and ran out with my heart still racing as though I got involved in marathon.

“Do you think my dad will like it? I wonder how your father will react to my father’s anger. I bet he will be very disappointed in you…” Gryphon didn’t say anything, but he glared at Roxanne as if all the fury in the world was being sucked into his skin and then discharged into those eyes. It was easily the most dangerous state of Gryphon Pearce, but Roxanne trod it just fine. She even moved her chin up to look down at the man again.

Only Sierra knows how true those words are. "Enough, if you are done interrogating her, let her go and take a shower. She stinks" Xavier muttered. To be honest, she is not stinking. She still carry her unique scent which is purely her own. And he likes her scent, even though he would never admit it. He just doesn't want to give Douglas more space to talk about Sierra. He helped the crew to dock their speed boat. And when he climbed up to the second floor deck, he happened to hear Douglas's remark. He fought with the urge to smash his fist into Douglas's face and rearrange his features.

“It smells like sex and Jarek in here. I’ve suffered enough already. I’m struggling to stay in here right now. Being in the same room with you while you smell of him is too much for me. I’ll see you downstairs.” Xillon clutches his chest, sniffles and walks out of the door with his shoulders hunched. I can feel his pain surging via our bond and all I want to do is lay down and bawl my eyes out. I don’t regret giving myself to Jarek. It was the most amazing experience of my life. We are now connected through the mate bond, and the past is behind us. My heart aches for Xillon though, and I must do everything in my power to make things up to him.

"Come out and face me if you dare. Otherwise, stop barking like a dog!" Felix snapped. The voice vanished. Felix quickly asked, "Can you tell me what sect Candace exposed?" Alistair remained silent, unwilling to speak. Xena hesitated for a while before using voice transmission to say, "It's Abyssal Surge Sect. But you must keep this to yourself." She chose to confide in Felix because she had absolute trust in him. Felix thought, "Abyssal Surge Sect—the second of the top super sects. Those bastards really have some nerve."

Xion noticed there’s a sadness in her voice and he realized something. “Must be hard to live so long. When everyone eventually just… gone,” He didn’t realize his voice turned into whisper. Sierra looked up to stare at those bright eyes; she choked up a little, “Yeah, it is.” They stood side by side for a moment, until Sierra snagged the drawings from the wall. “Come on. Let’s show this to the boys. We have to warn them.” Xion didn’t talk much as they searched for the others in this small town. He just learned that his heart started to beat out of control next to this woman. However, he tried to shove it down. Maybe because he realized she’s someone he idolized. Yeah, it’s probably because of

He stressed, "Sonia, you must understand that I have genuine feelings for you." Without hesitation, Sonia shrieked, "I don't share your feelings! Please leave me alone!" There was a brief flash of iciness in Xavier's gaze, though it quickly disappeared. Then, the car was suddenly filled with the sound of a woman's pleading voice, "Don't go, please stay." Accompanied by suggestive panting, the situation was clear without needing further explanation. Sonia's body tensed up as she questioned Xavier, alarmed, "What are you trying to do?!"

"Why not?! I told your friend to stay the fuck out of it and she didn't fucking listen. Look where that got her. Do you want to be next?!" He asks seriously as his tone with me grows more grotesque. I fall silent as I look over at Xion in his seemingly angry state. We stare at each other for a few seconds before Xion's expression begins to soften, having him take a small deep breath before putting his cigarette out on the ashtray.
