The book had pictures of skulls with smoke coming off them, their eyes glowed red. Human bodies bent at strange angles. The pictures definitely resembled what I'd seen happen with the man in the forest and with Abby. Several different kinds of names were given, but demura wasn't one of them. There also wasn't any information on how they could be killed. "I think so."

Damon joked "And a pointy hat" I laughed "That too, yes" Damon nodded I flew to the library the following day to return 'kidnapped' I decided I wanted another book, this time I chose a different author and a different genre, I chose horror, which wasnt far from thriller, like the first book, but horror was my favourite, I loved how ghosts were scary, and there were demons, and scary witches that cursed you, it made me laugh, for some reason this had always made me laugh, even before I knew I was a witch, now I knew why.

I had no time to waste, and that ocean of books was demanding my undivided attention. So, as a last resort, I checked the files for classification of books and eventually found the section regarding interracial mating. The topic of the two bloodlines was eye-opening for me, my heart flipped several times reading the details of the bonds. I was so lost in gathering those facts that time flew by, and I couldn’t notice the sun was setting in the East when Nova started howling painfully. “We’re going to lose something very important, Helena. I marched straight to the house where the Swans were staying and pounded on the door. They opened the door, annoyance written all over their faces. "Spit it out!" "Where's my handbook?" I questioned. "What does that have to do with us?" Afro and the others lived just next door, and they watched us with interest. It wasn't hard to guess that they had already joined forces. They wanted to see whether losing the handbook would be the trigger that would cause any monsters to appear and devour me. That way, they could figure out how to complete the final objective of defeating the final boss.
