My thin curtains tried to stop it from coming inside. At first nothing seemed to be out of place. But then I saw it. An odd figure that no where looked like human or any kind of animal was hiding itself behind my curtain. I could feel the fear in my nerves as my eyes widen. My mind was in all direction. One part of my brain was alert but I also felt like I was seeing things. Another part of my mind thought it as a illusion created by the lights and probably something else.

He didn't know why, but he changed the words he originally intended to scare her with when they reached his lips. "Ghosts are illusions created by the mind. Due to illness, fatigue, and stress, the human brain can momentarily lose track of the body's position." "Shut up, I just asked you if there are ghosts. Who let you talk to me about scientific principles?" Clearly a fragile woman seeking comfort, yet she still extended her sharp claws to scratch people. Riley cleared his throat and withdrew his scattered thoughts, slowly retracting the strength he had poured in, silently. Bianca felt the weight on her shoulder disappear and glared at Riley again.

My chest tightens with a recognition I can’t place. I reach the door and pause. Through the gap, I see a bed angled toward the window, blinds drawn but leaking thin bands of early light. Machines stand sentinel, their screens alive with quiet green waves. And on the bed...... It’s me. I stop breathing. The figure lies perfectly still, and hair spread like a dark fan across the pillow. A pale blanket rises and falls with each slow inhale. The face, my face, holds the colour of morning milk. Eyes closed, Lips parted just enough to catch the soft hiss of oxygen.

But no matter their looks, they actually behaved like teens on spring break. Not only were these Haunters so loud, it was also plain to see some of the alleged evidence of paranormal activity was fake. They had a zillion static cams all over, plus the handheld cameras they carried around, yet most things happened off-camera. Not to mention a great deal of what they got was personal experiences, like being touched, hearing voices no mic captured, catching a glimpse of a shadow right outside the cam field, feeling cold spots their thermal cam didn’t register.

The last part of the attraction was funny mirrors that bent and twisted your body into funny shapes.
