****** As they approached the stable, Penelope noticed how the horses snorted and neighed as they got close to them. She remembered that wolves had a natural affinity towards horses and wondered if any rogue pack would attack them. However, they were reassured by Rusell that they had picked the best horses that could outrun any pack. Penelope chose a chestnut horse, it had a beautiful coat and was fast. Liam, on the other hand, chose a black stallion that was majestic and strong. They were given saddles and the necessary equipment. Liam checked the saddle and tightened the girth strap before mounting the horse. Penelope followed suit, and soon they were galloping out of the Packhouse.

They are much larger than I expected, and I am a little afraid. As I silently watch them, the largest horse turns to look at me. It is massive and black. Completely black. He looks like a horse befitting of Lucifer himself. Much to my surprise, the black horse trots over to me. He snorts loudly, and I step back from the fence, but it's not far enough. He puts his great head over the fence and sniffs my hair. My eyes are closed tightly but the horse doesn't seem to mean me any harm. Opening one eye, I look up at the mighty horse. His pitch-black eyes are looking at me as if he knows me.

Roxanne changed quickly, her eyes shining with excitement. "You look beautiful in anything, my fair princess," Jaxon complimented her as she stepped out. He took her to the stable, where twenty horses of different breeds awaited. There was Sugarplum, a beautiful chestnut mare with a white blaze on her forehead, Noir, a sleek black stallion with a star-shaped marking on his nose, a proud Arabian named Zephyr, a gentle giant of a Shire horse named Thunder, and several others, each with their unique markings and personalities.

I gave him a quizzical look “Trust me, baby girl, this is something you would not have suspected, something you’ve missed, and it’s something you recently experienced and I want to give it back to you.” Feeling slightly confused but having a small guess at what this could be I open it up. When I pull out the thing inside, the first thing I see is a picture of a chestnut-colored Carolina Marsh Tacky horse. Underneath the picture is everything you need for ownership of a horse, the vet health check, the breeding standard certificate, information on what stable the horse is at, and its condition. Everything.

Do they bite? “The crown prince’s horse is the perfect horse, not because he’s loyal and has one of the best build and bloodline. Well, that too, but he’s the perfect horse for the crown prince because that horse is very compatible with the crown prince and he loves his master a lot too,” Hans said, beaming proudly. “Hans bred my horse for me. He also trained it for battle,” Ren explained for my sake. “Oh…I see…” I said with my eyes wide in appreciation.

Carla warned me before I could touch the horse who was looking at me while snorting. I quickly pulled my hand back and turned to her. “But why? He looked so nice.” “Yeah, until he kicks you. That horse is Prince Kraven's former horse, Night. He has been his favorite since he was a child, but the horse suddenly became unfriendly.” I looked at the horse again and I wasn't sure if my eyes were tricking me but he looked so sad. “He looked sad.”I muttered, my heart suddenly hurting. “I'm sure he is, but still, don't touch him. Let's go and finish up.”

Hopefully, the horse knows the way back to the palace. The harnessed horse yawns as I approach, unworried. It—I glance beneath its belly—he is a surprisingly handsome gray with a black mane to match his black legs and a white star on his forehead. He’s clearly been bred for distance, not speed, but I don’t know that speed would help either of us much here. “Would you like to go for a run?” I ask softly as I drift toward the cart itself.

If she ever thought he felt comfortable enough, she might try asking him someday, but for now, it was enough that he’d shared part of his life with her. They paused in front of the stall housing her mother’s favorite riding horse, a powerful black beast named Warrior. Kit knew this stallion was quite standoffish and usually wouldn’t even come over to the gate to see her, but he marched right to them and let Reeve pat his nose. “That’s quite impressive,” she said, not daring to ruin the moment by trying to place her own hand on the horse. “He’s much gentler than he lets on,” Reeve replied. “He only wants to appear strong because your mother demands it.”

Cliffhanger seemed to notice the crying and gently pulled on his rider’s boot with his teeth. “What? You want me to get down?” The horse shook his head. “All right, boy.” He got down. The other horses moved away but Cliffhanger stood by his side. Soon Cliffhanger went into the herd and started to run. The other horses followed. He took them on a wide path that circled around the young Menian. Yvayn stood in awe at the sight of these majestic beasts running through the tall grass. Their manes flew behind their backs, as did their tails behind their bodies. The sound was like a rumbling of thunder and gave Yvayn goose bumps up his back. He smiled as the horses continued to circle him over and

she asked. “Don’t be deceived by her beautiful appearance, she isn't as strong as the others. Most buyers go for warrior horses with a sharp mind but this one despite the training is still timid and thin. Plus it's easily noticeable so camouflaging is hard. It kept getting rejected so we kept it in the corner for useless horses. Do you want it?” he asked, a little surprised. “Why yes I do. I don't believe it's any less than a warrior horse, I think it's unique and just need to be showered some love” She responded as she kept running her hands through its white showy body.
