Julia shuddered when she heard those words. She looked at her boss, but his face was expressionless. What else did she expect from a mafia leader? Suddenly a tear dropped from her eyes. Was this how her life was going to end? She questioned herself as she saw Marco pull the trigger. “For the last time, why the hell are you doing this?” Don asked, “the Rossini's have been good to your family, so why this?” “Good? Did you just say good?” Marco asked, then added, “The only person worthy of being called 'good' is Martin, and fortunately, he has already betrayed you.”

A prime example was the Baldinis, the family of the future bride. Despite the glamorous outfits, the true nature of these mafia families was clear to those who could see beyond the surface. I knew all too well that men like Domenico Fanucci, who greeted the guests with a big smile, lacked the decency and empathy that made us human. I was exhausted from serving the guests their drinks and snacks. There was no time to rest as everything was performed under the watchful eyes of Madam Catherina. The only time I got to rest was when Liza handed me a tray with a single bottle of expensive champagne, which came straight out of the Fanucci winery.

Reed yelled. "Sir ...I know that you are mad because of your daughter, but if we are being sincere here, we can't go against him. True, he is arrogant but that is just how he is. He has the right to be arrogant after all. You probably don't know but Marco has a lot of hidden powers besides the power that he already has as the mafia boss. That is why no one dares to annoy him. Also, he is our biggest partner. And most people who work with us work with us because of him. They don't have the guts to offend him and so they work with us so that they can suck up to him!" His assistant said.

“Greetings everyone. Welcome yet again another gathering…`` The host continued with the introduction. “What is the motto all together!” “Mercy is a sim, Forgiveness is a taboo! The mafia comes first in anything! The mafia is family! I pledge my allegiance to the mafia!” Everyone one said the same and then raised two fingers of their right hand up before they peck edit and then placed it in their right arm. I sat there watching them.

He reaches out, and I catch his wrist. “No. Just answers. I gave you pleasure already. I gave you blood, and I’ve been keeping your fucking secrets. Now, you fucking owe me.” I search his eyes. “The ‘Lords Blessing’, Sicillio’s chemical cocktail. You know it’s taint, but what is it exactly?” “Get me a sample and maybe I could tell you,” he counters, pressing his face to the side of my neck and breathing in deep. “When you’d already injected… it was too mixed with your own blood and natural musk to be able to pick it out exactly.”

After four long hours of driving, I finally stop in front my house-my parent's house. Still the same two story house, with the obnoxiously large water fountain in the middle of the driveway. I guess you could say I was born into a rich family, actually very rich. Papa's older brother, Pedro Alfonso, was head of the Spanish mafia. When he died of a heart attack, his wife, Cristina Alfonso, and son, Dante Alfonso, came to live with us.

He offered me his arm, and with our arms linked, we stepped out onto the balcony to introduce our newborn to the pack. The moon had just reached its summit when Magnus held our son up to receive the moon’s blessing. As I watched him holding our son, hope and fear competed inside my mind. Would he receive a blessing, or would he be cursed? My heart raced madly. I placed my hand on my chest as if I could control it. “Members of the Black Moon pack, I give you Prince Marcel Von Wolffen. May the Moon bless and watch over him and guide him to be a powerful warrior, a leader of wolves.”

He still hasn’t finished his words when his right-hand grasped what his question would be and answered before he could speak more. “It’s the Bonsignore–” The moment he uttered that name, Granger rashly slapped the table in front of him with his knuckles. He opened his eyes slowly. While his first gaze contained disbelief and confusion, now his eyes lit with fire from the rage rushing in his body. It was that goddamn mafia–again and again. Fuck! His breath became heavy. Every nerve of his body was pulsating with anger.

I pointed out. “Anything but that. If you want a diamond necklace, I will get you one. If you want the Maserati, you can have it. But you can’t drive my car.” “Ah, but you see, you always say you’re a man of your word. Are you not going to honor that?” I said smugly as I watched him scowl at me. Honor was something they took very seriously in the Mafia and they did not fuck around with it. Which was why I used it against him.

If he just left his mafia then it would've been so easy for Serrano to kill his whole family because of no security. Once a mafia, was always a mafia. He has killed a lot of bastards.
