If The Crown Fits

If The Crown Fits

I mumbled. We were finally back on land. We hoped off of the gigantic clam as we made our way back to shore. The prince's trousers got wet as they walked through the water. A few snorts brought our attention to the 3 horses in front of us. It was Ryde, Garius and Midnight.

I love this book and I'm sad to see it end. I'm a little disappointed that you didn't write a few chapters between this one and the last one to cover so many questions I now have. I still recommend this book.

Overall, very good story line. I feel some of the characters have developed more than others throughout the storyline but I really enjoy the book. It’s a fun roller coaster. Would definitely read this book again. Can’t wait for the ending. 💛

Its red eye catches me off guard; I step away from the counter, holding my breath. The rabbit continues on until it's out of sight. There are back doors in the hall that lead outside. It has large windows and dark handles, and I unlock them to venture into the night. There's a small porch with a bench and empty flower pot. The porch steps lead straight into a sparse patch of grass like stone steps that descend directly into the ocean. My eyes bounce around for the rabbit even though I know I am out here for other reasons.

Kam just sat next to her on the back porch with his tongue lolling out and a wolf grin on his face. I gave them a snort of agreement, then followed the group. It didn’t take long to catch up with them, and we ran for almost an hour. Jimmy and Saoirse were eventually left behind, since they hadn't had a chance to run as wolves for a while. Not since our last camping trip to visit Ma’s family in South Carolina. Just another perk of living in a small town with a forest.

A gentle breeze silenced any cloud dreaming of rain. The clean scent of wisteria, Hyacinth, freshly mowed lawn and the cool night breeze calmed Becca's senses. She closed her laptop where she'd been helping her sleeping best friend, Lysandra Hawkins, with her poems. Two years living with Liz was as fun as it got. Their two bedroom apartment was located at the middle of oakfalls. It offered night long parties, bars and restaurants which we both visited once in a while.

I may not be thanking him after tonight, but we shall see. We drove through a forest road, obviously part of the oasis, and then pulled down a long dirt road. A moment later, the bright glow of a bonfire shone ahead beside a huge Victorian mansion, probably the size of six regular houses. "This is gorgeous!" I said. "I'm surprised I haven't seen this before." "We keep pretty private." Cruz smiled proudly. "This is our Compound." My eyes nearly bugged out of my head. "Seriously? You live here?"

It was enough. As they approached the barns, Cassie noted the trucks parked to the side of the boarding barn. Eryn's farm had recently transformed into a boarding facility for horse and horsemen taking their winter break from Standardbred racing. Each November her barn filled up and the dorms were bustling with regulars, happy to have a place to stay.

Return Of A Sinister

Return Of A Sinister

He said with a puffed out chest and proud tone. Among the horses, there was Septa, a spirited mare with a coat that mirrored the vibrant colors of a sunrise. Her mane and tail flowed like liquid fire, weaving a tapestry of brilliance as she galloped through the meadows. By her side was Midnight, a stallion with a coat as dark as the night sky, adorned with stars that glimmered with a celestial glow. In a corner stall stood labroha, a gentle mare with a coat as pure as moonlight itself. She possessed an ethereal beauty that captivated all who gazed upon her, and her presence radiated a soothing calmness that whispered of forgotten secrets.

Second Time's A Charm

Five Years Later “Go, Dom!!!” Nine-year-old Trevor Calisto was cheering on his cousin from the fences as the boy broke into a gentle canter on his horse. Both their fathers were in the corral coaching him along the little ride. He chose the 8month old Friesian Colt a day ago when his father Killian told him it was time to get his own horse. Vincent bred top of the line horses, and the Friesian breeds he bred strictly for family. The colt was black as night with a calm demeanor matching his new master's attitude. The two boys were excited. Now they can both ride together around the ranch.

Ethan informed him. "Really? Where do you stay now?" "Landmark." "Whoa!" Harry exclaimed. "Dude! The houses there are lit!" "We own Landmark dude." Ethan reminded him. "Uh, yeah I know but still!" Harry said. "You know what they say about not throwing stones when you live in a glass house." "That whole sentence doesn't make any sense, but whatever dude." Ethan chuckled. "I'll give you the password to the gate when you get here. Have your ID on you though."

Wolfe Ranch

Being early was being on time. We got back in the truck and finished the drive to the rodeo location. When we got out to the arena, I parked my truck with all the others that had trailers. I got out and went to get Cash from the trailer so he could move a little. Cash was a tall dark gray flea-bit gelding that mom had gotten me about eight years ago. He was a great cattle horse and perfect for roping events. I felt bad that I hadn't been exercising him the way I should be.
