Erica opened her eyes and smiled as she saw Dominic lying beside her, with his eyes closed; sleeping. She reached out and touched his face with her fingers, he immediately responded to her touch and leaned in to her hand more. She chuckled at his baby like behaviour and he opened his eyes, looked at her and smiled lazily. "Good morning my gazelle," he said lazily and she giggled. She enjoyed the nickname he had given her, he was very fond of Stag, Deers, Gazelles, Ibex, Reindeer and all similar animals. "Good morning my king," She replied and he kissed her forehead. He then looked around in the big room and sat up. Erica admired his well built body, his strong arms and his strong back muscles. He turned around to look at her and smirked mischievously, “Enjoying the view aren’t we?” he asked and she giggled and she was about to smack his naked back playfully but he reached out and grabbed a hold of her wrist. He then pulled her towards him and crashed his lips against hers. She giggl

Chapter 2: A Glimpse in Past
Hi Prosopiko, today I went to hunt, alone. I did not told father because he wouldn’t have allowed it and I needed to get my minds off things because I was missing mom. I had to hunt a couple of sparrows which I think will be enough for dad and me. I cooked it into a soup with simple bread for dinner.Prosopiko was her magical diary and her only friend, she found it in her mother's closet and she had never told anyone about it. She heard her father coming in the house. It was just her and her father in the house all alone. It was a scorching summer this year, unlike any other summer, which meant that the winter was going to be equally harsh and unforgiving. Erica threw her diary under her pillow and went out of her room to greet her father. “Good evening father, how are you?” she asked him.“I am fine sweet heart, how are you? How was your day?” he asked her as he sat on the broken chair, and took off his shoes. “Oh the usual, nothing special,” Erica shrugged and her father nodded, “i

"I have a strong gut feeling, I wish its a boy," she said and Peter crumbled his face, "No, I want it to be a girl, another version of you," Peter said and Jessica forced a smile. "It'll be fine," he said to her and she shrugged, "No, you don't understand Peter, another version of me? Am I not burden enough for you?" she asked and Peter shook his head, "I love you, you can never be a burden on me," he said and Jessica shook her head in no. "What will you do when she turn twenty two?" she asked him and he shrugged, "I will protect her, I wi

Erica’s eyes skimmed through the pages trying to understand the words, but she could not read a single letter. She picked up her ink pen and wrote, ‘Prosopiko, I don’t understand a word. What are you trying to tell me?’ Erica waited for a few moments but she didn’t receive any answer, she sighed and put the diary in her bag and went out for breaking her fast. She tried to get up but she couldn’t, so she lay in her position and tried opening her eyes slowly, as she try to adjust her eyes to the bright light. She saw a silhouette of someone, “Father?” she asked but she didn’t have any response. The person was looking at her, she knew that much, and her instincts told her that it was not her father either, but she didn’t wanted to believe that. “Father? What is wrong with me?” She asked again and received a low dog like growl in response. “Who is it?” Her eyes have opened but she only saw a bright light, she couldn’t see anything around her just a bright light and silhouette of someone standing in front of her. “Who are you and what have you done to my vision?” she asked again, to say she was scared

Chapter 6: A Fairy Tale Room
She had entered a room full of dresses, shoes and jewellery. It was so much, and so beautiful. Erica never owned any dress, and only dress she had ever seen was her mother’s wedding gown. ‘I wonder who the lucky girl is.’ She thought to herself as she looked at everything. The room was so organized and clean and every dress was beautiful in its own way, with beautiful designing and beautiful, vibrant colors. The room was basically like a big closet and she was walking in this huge closet. The closet was far bigger than her own room back in her home. ‘Where am I?’ she again thought to herself. She was jolted back to reality when she felt a hot wax from the candle drip on her hand, she went in the room and placed the candle by the side table of the bed again and rubbed off the now dried wax off of her hand. Her mind was soon diverted by the place she was in, she touched the bed in which she was lying before and it was the most comfy thing she has ever touched, the blanket that had been

Erica stood behind the closed door with the vase up in the air and waited for the person to come in. She inched closer to the door and put her ear near to the door, as she heard footsteps approaching her, she quickly straightened up and she tightened her grip on the vase. The person opened the door and came inside, Erica without wasting any second lounged forward and with every ounce of force and energy in her body, she hit the person with the vase. The Vase broke into several pieces but the person was unaffected. He was still standing straight and he didn’t even budge.Erica looked at the person and inhaled sharply, she was surely dead now. The person turned around and Erica was shocked to her core. Her kidnapper had sharp pointy teeth, he had many hairs on his face with the exception of the beard, and his ears were long and pointy. He was very tall; Erica hardly reached up to his chest. He had long nails or they were more like claws, he had hair on his hands and fingers. His feet an

He is a horrible person,” she said, her voice was still coarse and hoarse because of the grabbing of her throat. “What is his name anyway?” she asked in pure annoyance, “The sire’s name is King Dominic,” one of them answered and Erica laughed bitterly, “King? King? King of what? Arrogancy? Stupidity? Or wait King of Pride, that is it,” She said and chuckled. She then got out of the bed and yawned, “Where is the bathroom in this big ass room?” she asked the girls and they pointed towards the closet door.Erica looked at it in pure confusion for a second then moved towards it, she opened the door and it automatically lit up.
