I hung back in the kitchen until Malik was alone, leaning against the counter with his phone.
“Hey,” I said.
He glanced up. “What’s up?”
I shifted awkwardly, lowering my voice even though no one was close enough to hear. “Uh… weird question, but… the club we’re going to tonight… does it have… like… everything?”
His brows furrowed. “Everything?”
“Yeah, like…” My throat felt tight. “Like… a gay section or something.”
Malik didn’t even blink. “Yeah. It’s one of those all-in-one places. Dance floors, different rooms, whatever you want.”
