The smell was unmistakable, warm bread, grilled sausages, onions sizzling lightly. “That,” she said softly, “is a hot dog.” Ethan blinked up at her. “Hot dog?” Reid chuckled. “It’s not actually a dog.” Ethan gasped dramatically. “Good.” Karline laughed, brushing her fingers through his hair. “It’s bread and sausage. Want to try?” His answer was immediate. “I want that.” Reid gestured toward the stall. “One birthday hot dog, please.” The vendor worked quickly, placing the sausage into a soft bun, adding ketchup in a careful zigzag. The steam curled upward into the cool night air.

There was also barbecue and hotdogs served. We transferred near the swimming pool while soft music played in the background. Daddy and Ryke were talking again. Daddy was so annoying because he kept making Ryke drink more. I stood up and went to the grill area to get some hotdogs and barbecue. I noticed that Ryke also stood up. I took a bite from the hotdog and looked at him. “Why?” I asked because my face suddenly felt hot. “Can’t wait.” “H-Ha?” I said before taking another bite of the hotdog while looking at him.

“So, it’s not just the hotdog you’re after, huh? You’ve got your eye on ice cream too?” Josh burst out laughing. “Did you figure me out?”

He then went to the fridge, took a string of five sausages, placed them on a clean plate, and put it on the table after scorching them with his breath. “I give clean food to Dog!” Dagon said, beaming. “How nice of you, Dagon!” Benette praised him with a big smile. “You’re such a good kid, aren’t you?” “I’m good kid!” replied Dagon who jumped at Benette who picked him up and gave him a warm hug. They watched as Dog stood up on his hind legs to reach the plate on the kitchen counter. “Funny how he looks like a man while he eats like that,” said Benette laughing.

Jericho joins moments later with a large pack of hotdogs with buns. “I brought these for you,” Jericho hands Kehlani her own pack of tofu dogs. It’s so sweet that he remembered she’s vegetarian. He takes his seat on the ground next to Kehlani and Karter. We all pass around some wooden skewers to stab through the hotdogs and place them over the fire until they are as done as we want them to be. I almost burn mine, liking my hotdogs to be charred and I notice Karter doing the same thing and I smile. Nobody else I know likes almost burnt hotdogs.

"Oh my gosh! That hotdog is massive! I'm still a virgin! Please, no! " I couldn't believe it! It was the first time I had seen a guy's hotdog in real life! "What the fck are you saying?" My hair stood on end when I felt him behind me.

"Coming right up." Apparently, 'the lot' translated to a juicy looking hotdog, topped with red onion, some other cabbage-like component, and a generous drizzle of mustard sauce. It looked entirely delectable, and tasted just as it appeared. "What's this yellow stuff?" I asked, loving the taste of whatever it was. "Sauerkraut," Nikki replied. "It's just pickled cabbage." "It's really good," I nodded my head in approval. "I don't think they have this back in Australia."

She had totally forgotten her need to ignore him. She got Korean pork BBQ on a stick, stir-fried noodles, pho(Vietnamese noodle soup), ramen(Japanese noodle soup), fried cracklings(pork skin), corn dogs(hotdogs wrapped in a batter and deep-fried), spiral potatoes, watermelon slushie, chocolate ice cream inside a fish, and a hot brownie fudge sundae. This place represented all the nations of the world. If you’ve heard of it somewhere exotic, it was available at one of the stalls.

I replied and he just nodded walking to the table where the foods are. "Well, you're about to taste it." Mr. Cardoza said with an amused tone in his voice. When he turns to me I raised an eyebrow ay him when I saw him holding a large hotdog. "Here." He handed me the hotdog, I was hesitant at first if I should accept it but I could do nothing but follow everything he wanted. "Come on, taste it." Mr. Cardoza said so I immediately accept the hotdog and take a small bite. I raised my eyebrows when I tasted the salty taste of the hotdog and frankly this hotdog is not different from the other hotdogs I had tasted before.
