The Hidden Bond
Children lay on the dusty ground, catching any drops they could to drink.
"That pesky white Wyvern is going to get a piece of my mind!"
I remained quiet, not interested in meddling with the Wyvern or the plight of the villagers.
However, as we sought refuge from the rain, I stumbled upon a lively shrine dedicated to a goddess.
I watched the villagers, their faces etched with earnest prayers, and approached them with a question:
"Can you tell me which goddess is honored here?
"With all the struggles for daily bread, why do you still come to pay homage?"
