The Mating Ceremony may be simple in execution, but its significance is absolute—especially for those of higher ranks. A single misstep isn't just a mistake; it's a disgrace. A betrayal.

Furthermore, the series is undergoing major edits, proofreads and polishes; it may have grammatical errors as all chapters are released upon first to second draft. They will be edited later on. UPDATE 2025:
The series is currently undergoing a full rewrite and edit, so readers can expect a significant shift in both writing style and overall plot direction starting after Chapter 24.

This decision wasn’t made lightly, but my goal is to deliver the best possible version of this story—one that offers the depth, polish, and emotional resonance you all deserve.

The years 2023 and 2024 were incredibly mentally taxing for me, which is why this project was suddenly put on hold. I want to sincerely apologize to my readers for the earlier version of the story—it fell short of what I had hoped to give you.

That said, I’m truly grateful for your patience and support, and I hope this rewrite allows me to make it up to you. My goal moving forward is to deliver a story that reflects the passion I’ve always had for this world—and one that’s worthy of the time you've given it.

The book is now officially being serialized into three separate books! With that in mind, I’m currently considering the best path forward:

Removing all current unedited chapters and publishing three individual novels, or removing all unedited chapters and separating this book into three distinct sections, as originally planned.

I’ll be evaluating which option will provide the best reading experience and flow. Either way, I’ll keep you all updated as soon as possible.

I like this story. I love it when authors tell their stories with a 360 degree perspective. Aka when the story is told from all the characters perspective. It just helps to make the story more profound. Thanks for the update. Hope they will be more regular so as not to lose the momentum of the story
