“Factory reset the phone.” She stared at me. “Do it.” She powered it down. Held the buttons. The screen went black. Luciano watched, jaw tight. When it was done she held up the dead phone. “Cameras?” I asked. “Removed yesterday,” Luciano said quietly. “After the last video.” I did not believe him. But it was a start. I lowered the gun. “Now get out of my sight. Both of you. If I ever see either of you again, I won’t hesitate.”

He barely looked at it for three seconds before he stopped the playback. With a few quick taps, he forwarded the file to his own number, wiped the logs, and deleted the original from my gallery. He finally let go of my eyes. "I’m not blind, and I’m definitely not deaf," he said, shoving the phone back into my hand. I grabbed it, ready to hit replay because his reaction was completely wrong. He hadn't even looked at the guy. But when I opened my album, the video was gone. I checked the cloud backup—wiped clean.

“Calvin doesn’t know either. He said it must’ve been left at the bar.” I bit my lip, thinking. “Maybe you should deactivate it. Just in case. There are… private things on there, right?” Diana’s eyes widened slightly as the realization hit her. “Shit. Yeah. Photos, videos, messages, everything. I don’t want some random person going through my stuff.” She nodded quickly. “Good idea. It’s an iPhone, so I can remotely erase it.” She borrowed my phone and logged into her iCloud account. Her fingers moved fast as she navigated the settings. I watched her select the device and choose the option to erase all content and settings.

“I won’t let that happen.” Maria exhales shakily. “Then what do we do?” I push myself up, walking towards the corner of the room. My eyes find the small blinking light. The fucking camera. “First,” I say, “we turn off this thing. He’s not gonna get a recording of us doing shit.” Maria sits upright, watching me closely as I pull a chair over and climb onto it. My fingers find the power button, and with one press, the light vanishes. I step down, brushing my hands off. “Now,” I turn back to her, “do you by chance have anything that vibrates?”

With a few clicks, she deleted it from the laptop. “There you go.” She smiled at him, expecting him to be satisfied. “Your phone and flash drive as well. Also, any cloud storage you have, open them.” Frederick ordered. “Aren’t you going a bit overboard? I’m not going to use the evidence on you now you know?” She appealed. “I don’t care, delete it all.” Frederick replied in a calm manner, yet his forehead had a bulging vein of anger. “Okay, okay…” She agreed finally and took out her phone, deleting the video from there as well.

' The man protected the camera and argued, 'I didn't take it. Anna shook her mobile phone. 'If you don't delete it, I'll have to let my lawyer talk to you.' When men see this, they can only delete it.

The delete option appeared, but his fingers trembled, refusing to cooperate. He lifted his finger, and with a surge of determination, he tapped on the delete option. A confirmation message popped up on the screen: "Are you sure you want to permanently delete this file?" His voice was barely audible as he whispered, "Yes, I want to permanently delete it… I don't want to retrieve it, and even if possible, I want to erase it from my memory."

"What?" "Is there a way to get rid of pictures that have been spread on the internet? Pictures that have been shared, saved, forwarded? Can they be erased completely?" I frowned. "If the images have been saved to individual phones or devices, it is almost impossible to erase them completely. You would need to know exactly which devices have the images saved, and then you would need to access each one remotely. That is technically possible, but the sheer number of unknowns makes it impractical. Unless you have a list of specific devices, it cannot be done."

My finger caressed the name and I clicked on it. I was alarmed when I saw the video I just recorded sending. "Oh my God, oh my God.....no.....this can't be happening." I mumbled to myself as I tried to stop the video from sending. I tried to delete it but it won't delete. After several thinking I turned off my WiFi and heaved a sigh of relief. Thank goodness. I came down from the bed and removed the lingerie and everything before laying back on the bed, my eyes shut close and my phone on my hand.

I remember climbing in there together, sharing a laugh and a kiss before being dumped out as our weight unbalanced the material. I hold my thumb on the screen, waiting for the option to delete. And I tap the button. The photo disappears, leaving one less reminder of her, one less bit of proof that we’d shared happy times together.
