CUPID'S DARN CURSE.

CUPID'S DARN CURSE.

I barely survived, so since it has gotten to this, imma focus on my survival. I walk into the academy, going from one dark corner to the other. I feel like a fugitive; the only difference is that ‘wanted’ posters of me aren’t everywhere, yet. How do I escape class? I’m so fucked. We just have to face our fears, don’t we? It's not like he’s going to attack me in a whole class or harass me? You’ve survived a lot of things since coming to this city; you’ve got this, Catalina.

The Last Hunt: the broken omega

The Last Hunt: the broken omega

KAI’S POV The cafeteria smelled like burnt coffee and forced normalcy. That was the academy’s speciality....pretending. Pretending we weren’t being watched. Pretending yesterday hadn’t carved something new into our bones. Pretending we were still just students who worried about grades and sparring schedules instead of survival. I spotted them before they spotted me.

The Vengeful Princess At The Alpha Academy

The Vengeful Princess At The Alpha Academy

On the far wall hung what looked like a weapons chest, though it was currently empty. I set my bag on the bed closest to the window and sat down heavily. Riley's words echoed in my head. The first challenge takes out fifty percent of the students. Those who fail must fall under the rule of another alpha. Future alphas who fail the academy either die or return home with their status lowered, with the promise that their packs will be conquered. Everyone here was fighting for their pack, just as I was fighting for mine. The difference was, I wasn't just fighting to prove myself—I was fighting to survive long enough to avenge Joshua and protect my family from the war Donovan planned to wage.

Assassin of Alpha Academy

But oh no, we had to do fucking cardio, outside in the elements. Even with the freezing temperature outside, my blonde hair was plastered to my neck and the side of my face. Our beloved teacher, now referred to as “The Overlord,” decided it was an amazing idea to run laps around the building to build “stamina.” It was definitely bullShit, she probably enjoyed sitting in her little lawn chair in the snow, counting out laps as if it was her own special torture mechanism. Coming to Alpha Academy, I knew we were gonna learn how to be a leader and shit, but hell, I came here expecting a free ride and to bang all the chicks I wanted. But this year, the teachers made it clear to us that only the st

Even though Alex and the others didn't mind me joining but I didn't want to disturb the Pack meeting after all I also didn't want them to think of me as this Luna Pack even more so I went down to the kitchen to have breakfast. Since at this time of the year all werewolves are usually busy with their training, classes, or work, there's only me alone in the kitchen and dining area. I made myself a sunny side up egg and toast and ate it while texting back from Jenna and Eric. Jenna decides to enroll at a local university in this city, while Eric is accepted at a well-known private university even though the location is quite far. I'm not too surprised because among the three of us Eric is the m

ANDREA. Alpha Gavin dropped me off at the academy after our hectic training routine. I got into the IT Unit building. It was large and I could see students with laptops, tablets, palmtops and everything tech-related. The alpha told me the Surveillance Academy was created when rogues were coming in an out of the pack as though it was their home and killing anyone that came their way.Now the academy and it's workers; people who have graduated from the academy, provided the pack with electric fences that killed any wolf or person that tries to get into the pack by scaling the fence.

The Hidden Princess At All-Boys Alpha Academy

The Hidden Princess At All-Boys Alpha Academy

“Academy officials have reported a level of discontent with our candidates’ survival skills. Apparently, we’ve been sending them a bunch of cadets who can beat each other bloody but who fall apart after a single night in the wild. So, over the next forty-eight hours we’re splitting you up and sending you out into the woods in teams to test your survival skills as part of your candidacy ranking.” He continues speaking, laying out the rules as our little group looks anxiously around at each other.Luca curses under his breath, tossing his spoon down on his tray. “No survival skills?” Jesse asks him, a little pity in his voice – because he and Rafe, at least – and me, to an extent – have been ca

Excellent storyline. Ending lacking completion. The last chapter was rushed skipped a year in the timeline. Very disappointing. Same with Julie's story. That said will the other stories be written, Rafe's, Jesse's $ Mark's?

I am really really enjoying this book! Initially, I wasn’t too keen on the double fated mates premise, but as I keep reading it all comes together. I love how exciting the story unfolds. All the characters, the smart funny banter, the friendships, character growth, and story development is awesome!

Ashwyck Academy for the Damned

Ashwyck Academy for the Damned

This was his throne room, his sanctum, the heart of every corruption seeping into Ashwyck Academy. I gritted my teeth. Every step I took carried the weight of the Academy’s survival, the lives of the boys I loved, the ghosts of every creature and student who had been lost to the storm he’d orchestrated. I could feel them all in me, a trembling chorus of fear and fury, whispering, Do not fail. I called on the wolf.

Broken by One, Desired by All

Broken by One, Desired by All

"Ten or more opponents might attack you at once. They will come at you from behind, throw dirt in your eyes, and try to tear your throat out while you're looking the other way. You must understand the difference between a sport and survival." I swallowed the dry lump in my throat, my knuckles turning white as I clenched my fists again. The reality of his words sank into my bones, cold and unforgiving. My Academy training suddenly felt like child's play, a sanitized version of something far more brutal. "Okay. Okay, I get it. No rules." "Second," he continued, his dark robes swirling as he folded his arms across his broad chest, "I'm going to teach you the absolute basics today. The foundatio

I usually don’t do reviews however I feel like this book may get overlooked. I didn’t know how I would feel reading this book at first but the author has a fantastic way of writing which is easy to read and picture. I think the romantic relationships in this book is more tasteful than I expected!

ARIA: The Rise Of The Half Wolf Phoenix

ARIA: The Rise Of The Half Wolf Phoenix

I had even said goodbye to my family in my head. Looking into Misha’s deranged eyes, with so much hate burning through them, I knew she wasn’t going to leave me alive. How did I survive? Adrian’s cream couldn’t have been that strong. Well if the cream can heal broken bones maybe it can. That must be one hell of a cream then. “I don’t know,” I whisper. I might not have liked or wanted the party but I’m not ready to drag Adrian’s name into this mess. I look towards the balcony where a soft glow rises behind the curtains. Another deadly day in this academy. My throat tightens. I really do not want need to get out of this academy before I die.
