You see in the world I live in, there are many supernatural creatures with werewolves presently being at the top rank, next come the vampires, then the witches, and then you have my kind, the humans. We are the lowest in the ranking having no supernatural ability. With witches being almost extinct because the vampire army almost massacred them all, there was little to protect the human race from the wrath of the vampires. You see the witches were always on our side, but now fear has pushed them to live in isolation in the deepest parts of the most dangerous of forests. Long ago, we had an agreement with the werewolves and vampires in order to keep the peace. The rich humans would live a comfortable life with no fear of being eaten by the vampires and the poor were taken as slaves or used as breeders too keep the blood supply up. The vampires were the real threat to the human race. They used to be the most powerful before the werewolves took over. No one knows how the werewolves suddenly became more powerful than the vampires. It's almost as if it happened over night. They became the supreme rulers of the world giving them the highest rank. They wanted power, so they took it. Humans and vampires now serve them. I was born into this world. A world of monsters. I was 15 years old when the war started. I was taken as a slave to be bought and sold to the werewolf lords. However, I have a plan. I will make them pay. They will all pay for the pain they put us all through.

He stated the availability of some unresolved conflict with the Crimson eye pack as his reason. But his parents and the elders reminded him of the importance of attending the meeting. They made him understand that he needed to attend the meeting because it was a duty that he owed the pack as the future Alpha. Tessa Randolph, the second daughter of John Randolph, tried to convince her father to allow the meeting to be hosted by another pack. She wanted to stay back and allow her elder brother to attend the meeting in her place, but her reasons were all worthless to the ears of her father.
