Isla pov If anyone asked me how wealthy Alaric was, I would say he was one of the richest men in the US, if not the richest. He had the biggest company in the states, right after Voss Enterprise, so he was freaking rich, right? The kind of money I hadn’t grown up around, the kind my father could only dream of, which was why he always buttered up to Alaric. But then again, Alaric wasn’t the type to flaunt his wealth.

He’s not like me. Financially, he’s way out of my league. People like him end up with people LIKE HIM. The rich kind. Right now, I’m just a struggling nobody. A beautiful broke person if you’d have it. I giggle, finally shaking the laziness off to walk to the window. I unlock the handle and push it out then return to check my food.

he asked, and I smiled, staring right at the camera. “You,” I said without hesitation. “Interesting,” he responded. “So tell me, human. How do you plan on using me to get these desires of yours?” he asked, and I rolled my eyes. Rich people were always weird like that, thinking they were better than everyone else. Human? I guess if you’re rich, you have to see yourself as higher than the poor people. I mean, he was clearly above laws and stuff, so he probably saw himself as a god.

“He is alive Anna and he is incredibly wealthy.” I stand up so fast that the chair scrapes against the floor.

Kendal reminded me and I smiled . it wasn't easy getting here . well it don't matter how I got here after all am the daughter of one of the most richest men in the whole wide world and I also I have the most richest man under me and so no one ,I mean no one can literally cone to take all of that away ,it's definitely going to be a hard nut to lose and I mean that ,I mean every word .

In fact I'm pretty sure there is no one as rich as Jason in our small town. I'm so fucked right now!

My grip on him getting the slightest bit tighter, too small for him to notice. “Being rich means that you often think that you can get anything that you want. Some of their heads are too big for this world.” He says bitterly. It made me wonder, how he could say these things when he himself was probably the richest one out of them all.

I was so shocked beyond words. This was actually happening. I was going to meet a billionaire! Fuck! I’m going to be richer than Rihanna without using my talent. But, wait. I don’t even know if Giorgio’s dad is as rich as Rihanna. Of course he is! Rihanna is in the millionaire bracket, and I was in the billionaire bracket. Ok, not yet, but it was just a matter of time.

he replied, with a mischievous grin. "I know you're rich, but how rich are you?" I asked, feeling a little embarrassed. Eddie's grin grew wider. "Ah, Luna. You're so curious. Let's just say that I'm very, very rich." I raised an eyebrow. "Very, very rich? What does that even mean?" Eddie chuckled. "Well, let's just say that my family is one of the wealthiest in the world. But we like to keep a low profile to avoid unwanted attention."
