I reached out and grabbed him firmly by the throat, lifting his body off the floor and slamming him hard against the stone wall. CRACK. The stone chipped behind his head, and Malakai let out a gasping choke, his hands flying up to clutch uselessly at my fingers. I leaned in close, letting my eyes flash a brilliant, blinding gold as my wolf surged right beneath my skin, baring its claws through my mind. "Listen to me very carefully, old man," I growled, my voice vibrating through his entire skeleton. "I am the King. My word is law in this territory."

"Why do you have so many enemies?" She asked and Lincoln sighed and looked at her. "Well..." He began. "I am a King, Roseline - a powerful King that is envied by everyone. I have the personalities that any other man would want to posses. And since they can't be me, they only have to be my enemies". Roseline listened attentively, chewing on his words.

“What is this situation? Hahaha, for me the sole reason I became King was you.” Her eyes widened in disbelief and he continued inching his face closer to her until he was so close she could feel his breath on her face. He grabbed hold of her arms, shaking her. “If you leave me, what do you suppose I do?” “Your joke is going too far…” she whimpered. Placing his forehead on hers, he closed his eyes, inhaling deeply. “You must believe me, even if no one else does,” letting out a sigh and continued. “I am a man who became King for you were the King’s flower.”

And I had every intention of being the last man standing. Even if it meant breaking my brother. Even if it meant breaking myself. Even if it meant breaking the only person who had actually looked at me and seen something other than a bank account. Yeah. This was going to be fun.

I could smell their fear, it was thick and intoxicating, feeling the whole room. “Wait, wait!” I watched the two remaining lackeys with dark calmness, their eyes widening in recognition. “You... you’re him,” one of them stammered, stumbling backward. “Yes,” I replied, my voice cold and measured. “I am him. I am the king. No one takes from the king.” My eyes darkened. “Now, how do you two plan to atone for your sins?”

“To them, I’m just… someone who showed up and took your attention. They think I’m a threat.” “You’re not a threat.” “I know that,” I said gently. “But they don’t.” Silence filled the room for a moment, then he moved, walking around the desk until he stood right in front of me. He stood a little too close. “I am the King,” he said quietly. “And my word is final.” I swallowed. “I’m not asking you to stop being the King,” I whispered, hesitating for a second. Then slowly, I reached out and touched his arm.

"You're the—" "Do not step away from me," he cuts in with a growl. But I take another step back. "King," I breathe aloud, running a hand through my dark curls. "You're the king."

i turned and saw no one other than tris and Zayn "okay if that was a fucking prank your stinky ass is good as dead!" i said pissed. was he really nuts to say that when the king isn't here and anyway why would the king be here. then Zayn seemed to say somwthing which blew my whole life away. "It's fine as long as you apologized!" okay the last time i was joking about struck by lightening stuff but this time i am not. my Mate is the King. the Fucking powerful ruthless King of whole werewolf kingdom is my mate!

I suddenly felt weak in my knee as I struggled to seat back on my throne gripping it. "Are you alright?" Marek asked as he made a gesture to stand up and help me. "I'm fine, you haven't answered my question," I said with a grim voice. I am the alpha king and I was destined to rule this realm and to rule mean to share in my people's pain, sorrow, and happiness.

"People of the Forest Kingdom, Today, I stand before you as your King, humbled and grateful for the trust you have bestowed upon me. I address you as your ruler and a fellow inhabitant of this magnificent territory we call home. I pledge to lead our Kingdom with unwavering integrity, embracing the values that have defined us for generations.
