That was the only possible explanation. The anger I felt was immediate. It was hot and bright, and it made my mouth taste like metal. Tyrant had lost his territory, sure, but apparently he hadn’t lost his nerve. If he could manipulate people into tipping the cops once, he could do it again, and he could make sure the people I cared about were the ones who paid.

The king kicked the servant's feet once more and said, “You better take this secret with you to your grave.” The servant immediately went on his knees and placed his head onto the ground, “P-please forgive me, your highness!” He begged. The king facepalmed himself, “Why is wrong with you, you fool? Why are you making me look like a tyrant king?!” The king facepalmed himself, “Why is wrong with you, you fool? “You will be my sacrifice, and you’re the perfect one for the job.” I gasped, my heart pounding with terror as his gaze on me turned sinister. “But you don’t have to be afraid,” he continued, his grip tightening on my arm. “If you behave like a good girl and do as I say, I’ll make sure your death is quick and painless.” Tears welled up in my eyes as I realized the full extent of my hopeless situation. I was trapped, alone, and powerless in the face of this evil tyrant. Freyer gave me one last lingering look before walking out of the room.

I paused, swallowing the nervous lump in my throat. “I am deeply grateful to be here. Most importantly, to have formed a bond with the great Tyrant. Such a thing means the Moon Goddess has indeed smiled upon me. I am pleased to stand before you all, ready to serve, to learn, and to grow with the pillars of the Vagabond Empire.” The words left me, and the chamber remained silent for a long moment. Then, slowly, heads began to bow in acknowledgment. Not all of them. Some stares remained cold.

I felt so humiliated, but I tried to keep my head high. Tyler pushed me to the floor and looked at me with a stern expression. "You're not meant to clean. You're only meant to serve me," he said. I was shocked. How could he say something like that? Was I only there to serve him? I couldn't believe it. I looked around the room and saw the pack watching us. They were all nodding their heads in agreement, and I felt even more alone. But I knew that I couldn't let Tyler win. I wanted to stand up and look him straight in the eyes and tell him "I'm not here to serve you. If you claim I am your mate then I am your partner, not servant," but then I couldn't.

I feel like tossing and turning in bed until I get rid of my thoughts, but I don't want to disturb Arina's sleep, so I stay where I am, full of memories and feelings until they almost overflow. When they are already at the Emperor's place, Zelia bow her head emotionlessly, "Your Majesty, I must go now." Before she could go out, the Emperor spoke,"Stay." Zelia look at him then she bow her head,"Pardon me, Your Majesty but as a servant I must clean the surroundings, serve a tea or any other things that a servant must do." "Can't a servant like you stay as the Emperor's orders?."The Emperor said coldly. She tried hard not to roll her eyes and maintain her posture as a expressionless servant, "I'm sorry, Your Majesty but even though you're an Emperor, I'm afraid to say that you must also respect my decision."
