She fixed him with a long stare. “Finish your sentence.” Theo sighed faintly and then added, “I want you to stay with me forever.” Thea gently patted his head, soothing the restless monster pacing beneath his skin. “Don’t worry. I’ll be with you for the rest of your life.”

She knew the shit this kid has gone through, we hadn't hidden anything from her, and I know hearing him wanting to go back there... She would always worry about him.
