He just left. Anna rushed back in, holding me before I could slump. “Ma’am! Are you alright?” My sight was growing dizzy but I was struggling to keep my consciousness. “You need to get some rest. Let me take you home.” “No, not yet.” I stopped her. “Please take me to Juliet. I need to see if she’s okay.” Anna did as I instructed and led me to Juliet’s room. She was awake, reading a book. She snapped it shut when she entered.

I reached the window right in time to see his tall, dressed in red, figure as he walked across the street to his home. The warmth of his soft lips and the gentle way his tongue touched mine was intoxicating. I wanted more. So much more…and tomorrow was a day with Matt again. I sighed both with longing and with sadness. “Adrian?!” I shook my head and my eyes flew to my mobile. Should I call him back? Must I? Is he deserving of my calling? Mrs Parker objected. "It's not about him mom. I have a lot of homework and studies to do, I'm super exhausted now and I have had a long day" She made up the excuse. The view of the city appeared to be blurry as she drove- skyscrapers, streetlights, people. Her mind was on just one thing-home. Home was where Aria lay curled under blankets. Home was where Sophie would be waiting to update her. This was the place where love was still simple, and true, and real to Elena. And she didn't plan on looking back.

Logan asked and tightened his grip. “Ouch,” I yelped and tears gathered in my eyes, because I could not contain the pain any longer, btu even that did not make Logan loosen his grip. “I went to our former home…because I miss my brother so much, and I wanted to feel him near me,” I lied. Logan released my hand and stepped back, a flash of pain crossing his eyes. He stretched his hands towards me and said, “Let me have your phone.” I was going to do just that when Leah’s voice filtered into the living room, accompanied by her expensive perfume. “I am home!”

Lost in her joy, Thea didn’t think twice, replying eagerly, “What do you want?” Theo’s gaze softened as he looked at Thea, his pupils dilating slightly with a sudden, possessive heat. “Sister, I want you—” Thea was stunned by his shocking words. She fixed him with a long stare. “Finish your sentence.” Theo sighed faintly and then added, “I want you to stay with me forever.” Thea gently patted his head, soothing the restless monster pacing beneath his skin. “Don’t worry. I’ll be with you for the rest of your life.”

(FLASHBACK LAST NIGHT) "Fine, what do you want in return, pup?" I asked. "I want you to let me go. I don’t want your help, I don’t want to have anything to do with you. I just want to return to my home." He said emotionlessly. I heard the sharp intake from Kiara. She knew the shit this kid has gone through, we hadn't hidden anything from her, and I know hearing him wanting to go back there... She would always worry about him.

I mean, I don’t care, but I don’t want them to feel like it. I want to go home. Will I make it without another entity appearing out of nowhere?
