I Love To Read Novels & Stories

I continued with a wide grin. "Gwen!” He called out in amusement. "I love spending time with you too but there must be something you love so much!” He insisted and I knew he didn't get my joke. I wasn't lying though but it wasn't entirely the truth. “Well, I have grown to love reading, thanks to you, you have made me develop a habit of reading! There is just this magical feeling, it feels like you have left your world and gotten lost in the book because it is too good! Reading feels like a portal to another world which I only have to read to be able to enter!” I explained with a smile. Think about a recent book I read that added pleasure to my life making it a little sweeter.

Absolutely not. Furious that I left my phone, laptop, and speaker downstairs, I find myself with nothing to do. Do I have the patience for reading? No. Am I in the mood to read? Also no. Do I have anything else to do? Another no. Sighing deeply, I grab a book, plop down on the bed, and start reading my smutty novel. Smut is probably the last thing I should be reading right now, but it's the only thing available. And honestly, who doesn’t like smut?

~QUINN~ My eyes staying focused on nothing else, I flipped to the next page. While Gwen busied herself in the living room, I lay on the bed enjoying the silence in the bedroom that made for a perfect opportunity to enjoy one of my favourite hobbies. Reading. Being a bookworm, despite how I may appear to people, was one of the best traits I appreciated. There was something about burying my nose in the pages of a book that soothed my mind. It took my imaginations to a world. A world free of worries.

“What’s your hobby?” “Do I have one?” I raised a question. “Well, everyone does. You must have something you truly enjoy doing,” “Hmmm… reading?” My brows creased. “Yes. That must be it. I love reading,” “What type of books are you into? Fiction? Nonfiction? Magazines? BL…” “Fiction,” I asserted, cutting him short. “Especially romance. It helps me live in the world I could only desire to live in with Jeremy. The kind of love and affection I crave exists only in fiction,”

I had to take up waitressing and cleaning to take care of my bills especially my student loan, which I must say is a lot of money. All my stuff was boxed up except my books. They are precious to me, I love reading as much as I love to bake but I have to make money so you won't see me often lounging to read. But I still read when time permits me. I am hopeless romantic and it shows in my choice of literature. Hoping that one day I'll have someone to cherish and love.

Going to the movies with Liam this morning was such huge fun, I love Disney movies and doubt I’ll ever grow out of it. Idly, I scroll through TikTok then jump over to YouTube to catch up on some of my favorite book bloggers and see what they’ve been reading this month. A couple of books I haven’t read look good. Grabbing my journal and pen, I start to make notes so I don’t forget which ones I want to buy.

Amazing, what is a better way to distract yourself than reading some dark romance books filled with smut. I got in the library and instantly felt a bit calm. Grabbing my favourite four books I got seated in a cosy comfortable corner, and started reading. An hour later I closed the fourth book in my hands as I groaned frustratingly. For god sake what's wrong with me? I couldn't even read a single book completely. I tried to read them for fifteen minutes and then put them aside while picking up another book. All of these books are my fucking comfort favourite books that I have re-read for so many times. The books whose MMC are my, to heart, book boyfriends.

His words made me glad, but I tried to appear indifferent. "Novels." I said, and he squinted his eyes in apparent confusion. "Sorry?" "Novels. I love to read novels. My hobby." I explained, and he grinned. "I wouldn't outrightly say that my hobby is reading novels, but it is definitely part of the things I love to do in my spare time."

Hopefully one or two things will catch your fancy in the matter of character adjustments and or hope for survival. I am a bookworm, a book lover I mean. I've always been one right from kindergarten. I read so much books I felt I would explode one day if I didn't stop. I didn't stop, and I also did not explode. Instead, they made me smarter. I read mystery books, thrillers and fantasies or general kid books. I read teen fiction too but I stayed away from horror. Mom bought me all of my books. I've got at least seventy books in my bookshelf and mom got them all for me. It was not a problem for her at all.
