I have read a few stories before and to be honest, always thought they were fictional, no way this happens to ordinary people. But I have to admit, I was wrong. My wife died about 8 years ago from cancer at the age of 39, I was 42. We were high school sweethearts who married very young. We were both faithful to the day she passed away and I still miss Susan every day. We live around the corner from my wife's younger sister, Beth and her husband. It was quite known in the family that Beth's husband Lance was lazy and thoughtless. He very seldom worked and was very demanding. Why Beth stayed with him was always a mystery.

I even had a story about how he died at war, making everyone shy away from the topic of my husband. Well, I never told anyone about my husband, but I said it to an imaginary friend on the phone. “Did I drag her into it? It was you who dragged her into it! You formed a mate bond with her. She became pregnant with your pup. Then you grew increasingly kind to her. I was consumed by jealousy! “I’m evil, and I did all the bad things. But the one who chose not to believe her was you! “Your relationship was so fragile that all I needed was a few words to drive a wedge between you! “Do you remember? You pulled Grace in front of me, into the path of the dagger! You killed your own pup with your own hands! “Grace barely managed to stay alive, and you dragged her off the hospital bed. She was screaming in pain. It sounded so beautiful!

Her voice shook as she spoke to hundreds of thousands of viewers. "My husband and I grew up together. My dad died saving his life. That woman has no shame! She tried to seduce my husband…" I lifted my gaze and looked at Miles, steady and cold. He fumbled and shut the stream off, guilt written all over his face. "She's making things up. You have to trust me." I gave a short, dismissive laugh and picked up my phone, dialing. "Hello, I'd like to file a report for defamation…"

"How could she hit you so hard? And you just stood there and watched, Jesse. Have you forgotten Sinead is your wife?" I was already a little upset.
