Writing this book has been a journey filled with passion, creativity, and a few challenges along the way, and I’m thrilled to share it with you. Since I was a toddler, I have always dreamed of writing a novel. I have always thought about publishing books and become a famous novelist. The title of my first book will be When A Heart Desires The Moon. But I guess, I am not destined to hold a pen and a paper. Because for my parents, it is a lousy dream. They said that my ideas and imaginations must stay only inside my head and I can't share it with the world. I sighed. "What a mess."

So, hello. Sincere apologies for not updating. Life has been crazy and I honestly haven't had the drive to write for months. I have wanted to, but every time I went to write I found that nothing was coming to me, no words were making their way onto paper, and I wasn't enjoying it. However, no matter how long it takes, I will always continue to update this book as I enjoy the story and want to reach the ending. I like to write this book, so I will always update it, no matter how long it has been.

Until i suddenly pulled away as someone dashed past my mind and she almost leaned forward, a soft chuckle and escaping her lips as she stared at me. "What's that?" "I just got an idea" I whispered in response and her eyes went dim with seriousness as i stood from the chair eagerly. "How about i write a book?" "I write a book about everything. About me and growing up chinese in America. It might be like fresh off the boat but with everything. I'm just gonna write, wherever my pen takes me" "It could be a memoir" Excitement lit in my eyes as i raised my palms to my chest. "Do you know what this means?" "Do you?" And then i looked away, releasing a sigh, of relief. To be continued...

I smiled, feeling a sense of excitement. "The thing is, I've always wanted to be a writer," I said, my voice filled with passion. "I want to be a published writer, but it's all expensive and quite exhausting without a manager. I haven't been able to achieve my dream ever since I found out that it was my passion. I have a story in mind, and I'd love to publish it and share it with the world."

"I was hoping to steal some books from you on writing if you have any." "On writing? Like how to write a book type stuff?" Selby cocked his head, thinking over his inventory as he made his way to where his father-in-law stood. "Exactly like those types of books. I'm going to write a book. I've written a few articles for history magazines, but I know a novel is a horse of a different color. I figured I'd try here before heading to the old brick and mortar stores and see if I can save some money. Have to watch the pennies for a while."

I sat on the bed waiting for the door to open, but my eye lids begin to close on their own before I drop to sleep.
