I looked to the ground, soiled with droplets of his blood and a pool of stale vomit, unable to hold eye-contact. “I can’t marry him. Sorry, I just can’t.” I turned around to leave. “No, you ungrateful bitch! You can’t do this! You spread your legs for him, didn’t you? Why can’t you do it again? Angel! Bitch! I’m your father and you’d do as I say!” I kept walking, my eyes burning. “Maybe you should have died too, huh! You and your bitch of a mum took my life from me anyway. Would have been better if you joined her! Ungrateful shit.”

However, my company became very successful due to my efforts and hard work. I don’t appreciate you taking credit for it just because you helped me. I had relentlessly yelled at my father with no fear registered in my voice. I couldn’t hold back on my tongue, and I could no longer control my raging heart.

He said with a sly smile. I looked at him with caution. He may be my father, but what could I expect from a man who once forced me to marry a man I didn’t know just to pay off his debts? “I’m just asking for money for my mother’s treatment, but why are you making it so hard for me?” I almost cried as I said that.
