“Dominic and Austin must be arriving soon.” Isabella never went home for lunch as it was too much of a rush. Sometimes, she would have lunch at a five-star hotel they owned called Avalon Hotel. With a foodie like Isabella as the boss, Avalon Hotel had particularly strict standards when it came to the food, but even then, Isabella could not stomach it every day.

Mara blinked. After all the darkness it hurt. Then she stepped out. And stopped. There was no lonely coast before them. No remote beach. It's a small industrial port. Container. Cranes. An investor. Several vans. In the background a city. Grey sky. Kirchturm. Trams. Bremen Mara couldn't speak. She was already there. Not somewhere on the North Sea. Not far away. Bremen. All the time. The island was apparently only a few kilometers off the coast.

She was huddled up under a cozy duvet in the master bedroom on the yacht. “No, dear. We’re on a yacht,” Tony answered warmly. He was sitting on the edge of the bed, watching her. “Where are we going?” Kate asked him. “A place called Cidade-ilha,” Tony answered. “It means island city. It’s a small island belonging to my family.” “You guys own an island?” Kate asked in awe. “Two, actually,” said Tony. “The other one is for commercial use. It’s an exclusive beach resort for elite clients. Although we have other resorts across Brazil which are accessible to everyone.”

The resort was beautiful and very luxurious to say the least and neither one of them had realized that there were so many more people on the Island other than them who were staying at the resort. "Welcome Miss Gambino, what can I do for you? would you like to go to the massage rooms? or perhaps some relaxing acupuncture treatment or if you prefer, water Zumba?" Jax had appeared out of nowhere and was going on and on about the Island activities, not giving them a chance to talk at all. "Jax, Jax ! it's fine, don't worry about me I am just here to look around and have a good time. None of that acupuncture or Zumba stuff " Isla said cutting him off and thankfully, he got the hint.

Antonio helped Isabella in, then exchanged a few words with one of the bodyguards in Italian. He got in next. After the door was shut, he immediately pulled Isabella onto his lap and nuzzled her neck. "Where to, signòre?" The driver asked. He had a very thick Italian accent. He kept his face averted and waited for Antonio's instruction. "Atlantis." Antonio muttered. The driver pulled out of the airport and drove towards Antlantis, one of the most expensive and luxurious hotels in Dubai. "Atlantis?" Isabella repeated. "You'll love it." He assured her. "Atlantis is one of the best places to be, and you, my love, you deserve the best of everything."

After the Christmas gala recording, Isabella booked a flight to Germany as she had an advertisement shoot scheduled there. However, she didn't expect Elysia to intercept her at the airport. Inside the VIP lounge, Elysia appeared before Isabella wearing a duckbill cap. The cap's long brim covered half her face, making it hard to read her expression. Her tone, however, was oddly sarcastic. "Isabella, let's talk." Isabella was engrossed in her phone. Upon hearing Elysia, she glanced up briefly and replied indifferently, "Sorry, I'm busy."

Too many unknowns. Too many threats. The second our SUV finally stops, a young palace worker approaches wearing elegant black and silver formal attire. “Good evening,” she says politely while smiling warmly. “I’m Isabella. I’ll be assisting your group.” I step from the SUV first before helping Marge out. “Pleasure meeting you,” I reply politely. “I’m Gamma Corbin from the Silver Clan Pack. This is my mate Marge.” “Welcome to the palace,” Isabella says kindly.
