About five hundred meters away he saw a gigantic iceberg that rose to the sky, about one kilometer high. At the foot of that ice was a gathering of ten men. They had shed their clothes, despite the cold, and were performing some sort of ritual. They had gelatin dynamites lighted at the four corners of the ice, and they were just a few meters away, chanting some spells as the thread burned toward the explosives.
