Destiny
Seething with anger, I occupied my throne, plagued by the regret of letting her go. I was convinced she wouldn't survive the treacherous ocean. My palms sweated, and I found myself tapping the ground impatiently with my foot.
Suddenly, the door burst open, and one of my men entered, his demeanor visibly solemn.
"My lord," he began, his voice laced with apprehension. "They safely passed through the portal," he informed me, and I nodded in response, using my hand to dismiss him.
