IMPERFECT Princess

IMPERFECT Princess

I cuddled myself up in the bed with my pillows but the sound of the television was clear. "Do you Prince Sebastian take Princess Naomi as your wife? Do you promise to love and cherish and be forever by her side through sickness and heath until death do you part?" "Emily! Get out here! something is happening!" Gen called and I peeled myself up and out of the room. "What's going on?" "Look, look, look, he's shaking his head instead of answering." I looked at the screen and Sebastian was now whispering to the priest. Princess Naomi had a fake smile on her face as she stood still, and after twenty more seconds, Sebastian walked out of the wedding chapel.

Engaged to the Prince

Engaged to the Prince

“It’s just that… we expected her answer to be a godly parent but her answer was even more unexpected.” “Wait a minute, while Kaine may have a point, that actually makes a lot of sense,” Ryle said, evidently in deep thought. “The new Crown Princess is the missing daughter of the previous King and Queen,” he tilted his head. “But that would mean she wouldn’t have a godly parent.” “Are we really going to disregard the fact that you asked her who her ‘godly’ parent is? Is that some sort of metaphor? Are you royalties too?” Alexander asked.

The Prince's Substitute Bride

The Prince's Substitute Bride

In other words, he was more dangerous than his father with a cunning personality. DAMON/BRYCE POV "You are what?" She yelled. "You can't be him, the crown prince doesn't use his legs, so you are joking, with her voice cracking from her shout earlier. "Kiara, I'm seriously the prince, the reason I'm using my legs is because in the palace, I have to fake it," I tell her. "Then why are you making us go through all this, why don't you tell them that you can walk, why don't you take your position?" She questioned.

The Lycan Alpha’s Beloved Luna

The Lycan Alpha’s Beloved Luna

“You are our sister, Noelle. Don’t make Sebastian an enemy. We are a coven, and we’ve been waiting for you for years.” Imogene smiled at her. “Here you are now. You belong here, Noelle. With a strong hybrid like you completing our coven, we will rule the world.” Imogene cajoled softly as Noelle growled at her. “We are helping you to discover your true self, Noelle. You would have ended up being nothing in that kingdom you were put in to serve the Lycan prince.” Imogene’s eyes looked over her shoulder, gesturing at the prince that was still sprawled unconsciously on the floor.

He's the Prince and the Princess

He's the Prince and the Princess

Due to these kinds of movies, Raine somewhat accepted what Raeyan and Yris told him about this supernatural world and supernatural powers. Also, of him having supernatural powers, too. Ice, right? Raine thought when he recalled about that princess that Raeyan and Yris told him he was the incarnation of. An ice princess… he thought, then suddenly recalled a children's story about a snow queen. This princess, named ‘Alf’, should have the same powers as this snow queen. And if this princess ascends the throne, then she would really become a queen. A snow queen.

Princess of Faerl

Princess of Faerl

His eyes studied me carefully. “You are Aranelda Tirisil. Prince of Faerl, son of Belle and Alaric Tirisil, meant to be the host of Helios and thought to have been stillborn. Aphrodite and Aries sent you here. Now that we know where you are, we will not allow them to keep you.” I touched each binding, disintegrating them. “I am not physically here, but at the very least I can do this and you can try to hide from hateful eyes, or if you can escape, please do. The castle of Faerl is open to you. It is your home.” I touched his forehead just as I had done with Lady Emily, hoping to dispel any negative spells or charms that might be on him. “I have to go, but follow the chain to me, and trust th

she mused thoughtfully, taking another drag at her pipe, her manicured fingers tapping against the window sill. “How about the Fourth Prince, Master? I heard he is a waste and a talentless youth who spends his days idly. We can use him to gather some information, after he is part of the Imperial Family.” he suggested. “Hmm, a vulnerable target, yes. But still it stands that the Imperial Family will be on their guard now. And with the two princes' presence in the palace, there are more powerful individuals behind the walls of the Imperial Palace. Chances of them figuring things out is too high to attempt anything. I am not willing to take that risk, not this far in the game. We will figure ou

Mated To The Cruel Prince

Mated To The Cruel Prince

"Your Highness, are you sure the prince is here?" Isaac asked as he stared at the abandoned wooden cottage ahead. "If my magic led us here, then he is there or don't you…." Prince Aldric turned to stare at him, "Trust my ability?" Issac swallowed as he was pinned by the prince's unwavering gaze. If this was a test, he was as good as dead if he failed. "Of course, I trust your ability, my prince." He said, making sure to imbue some amount of truth into his words else the prince sees through his flattery.

Alpha's Impostor Bride

Alpha's Impostor Bride

“Let her go, Cedric! What are you doing?” I release Princess Vivian, and she falls to the ground, pallid. Bella crouches next to her to help her up. Bella glares at me. “What are you doing? She’s the queen!” I look at her with hatred in my eyes. When she sees it, she flinches, and I notice the flicker of guilt on her face. “The queen? She’s not the queen. Where is Leanna?” Bella straightens up, lifting her chin. “This is Princess Vivian, the true Princess Vivian. I imprisoned the impostor. She escaped, but I’m having people track her down. This is the woman meant to be your mate. She has royal blood—”

He Hurt Me, Now He Wants Me Back

He Hurt Me, Now He Wants Me Back

Damien Shaw Imogene is standing by the altar, resplendent in a pale orange dress that makes her glow despite the dark skies. Wisps of hair frames her face, and a delicate glint of gold gleams around her neck. If I were a bride, I would never let her in my wedding party because she outshines everyone around her. Every time, a million times over. Orange instead of white. Bridesmaid instead of bride. It isn’t our wedding, but seeing her up there, looking so damn beautiful I can’t believe she’s real...it’s an excruciating reminder of what I’d had.

If you’re looking for a second chance romance with good pace, then this book is for you.The problems doesn’t drag on at all and each scene drives the plot forward. I like how the writer doesn’t exploit drama from the characters…Overall, I really enjoyed this book. Looking forward to more updates

Frequently Asked Questions

It strikes me as clear when Imogen starts leaning toward the villains — and you can spot it in a handful of recurring, cinematic moments. The first sign is always softness in the face. There’s a scene type where the antagonist finally drops the mask: they confess a scarred childhood, a betrayal, or a painfully pragmatic reason for their cruelty. When Imogen listens without interrupting, when her shoulders relax and her eyes stop sharpening into moral outrage, that’s the moment sympathy is born. It isn’t a grand speech; it’s the small beat after a confession, the hand that hovers over a weapon but doesn’t move. I notice the score change in my head, too — minor chords give way to warm strings — and I know the writers want us to see her feel for them.

Another scene that makes Imogen’s sympathy obvious is the scene of vulnerability where the villain is physically weakened: wounded, isolated, or betrayed by their own allies. Imogen’s reaction is never performative pity; she becomes practical. She tends a wound, offers dry clothes, or diverts attention to spare them humiliation. The staging matters — close-ups on her hands, the way she lowers herself to their level, the silence between them thick with understanding — those moments show her not just empathizing but aligning, at least emotionally. I often connect this to her backstory: if she’s carried loss or been cast out, she sees a mirror in the villain’s desperation and that reflection pulls her across the moral line.

Finally, there are the decisive mercy scenes. The confrontation where the group demands justice and Imogen steps in to stop the execution or frees the prisoner, that’s the clearest demonstration. Her justification may be private: a whispered ‘I can’t do this,’ a remembered kindness, or a rational argument about cycles of violence. Sometimes she argues openly, other times she sabotages the plan quietly. Either way, the narrative spotlight shifts: everyone notices she isn’t just compassionate, she’s choosing a different code. Those scenes leave me thinking about culpability and healing rather than simple punishment, and they’re the ones that stick with me — I always walk away considering how a single act of mercy can rewrite a whole story.
