Alpha's Rejected Secret

Alpha's Rejected Secret

“Aria, it wasn’t calling you like prey.” I forced breath through my lungs. “Then what was it?” He opened his eyes again, meeting mine with terrifying clarity. “It was calling you like it already knew you.” Something cracked inside me, sharp as lightning. “No.” I shook my head instantly. “That’s impossible.” “Is it?” Riven murmured. “We’ve seen the creature do things no one believed possible.” I hugged my arms around myself, unable to stop the trembling. “I’ve never encountered anything like this before. I had never even heard of it until—until the collapse.”

My Fake Alpha Boyfriend

My Fake Alpha Boyfriend

The walls are covered floor to ceiling with bookcases filled with books about all sorts of different creatures from around the world. "I bet we can find out what kind of creature your mate is in one of these books," Ryder says. Excitement bubbles inside me as I start scanning the titles. There are books about dragons, unicorns, and even books about creatures I've never even heard of before. I make my way down one of the aisles, running my fingers over the spines of the books until I come across one that catches my eye. It's called "Shapeshifters: A Comprehensive Guide."

The Wolf who hated alphas

The Wolf who hated alphas

He said walking through the vast site. The leader of the clan, walked to the last shelf and picked up a big black and gold book. On the cover was a huge dragon, written, legendary creatures, extinct and extant. Cassius handed it to the girls and said:" Good luck. Now the work is with the young." He laughed. Nayssa and Kyria looked at each other and smiled, they sat down on the large wooden table and sat down in the padded chairs. The book was really huge, with a thickness of 20cm. Nayssa began to flip through the pages. There were several creatures in that world besides wolves. And the similarity between them was the hatred for the werewolves who took their mother away from them.

Tango 2 the Alpha's Heart

Tango 2 the Alpha's Heart

Asena mused, clearly amused by Adira's display of magic. "And scary," I replied; her magic felt more powerful than anything I had ever experienced. Or was it? "Perhaps it's time to reconsider what we thought we knew," Adira suggested, her eyes sparkling with curiosity and excitement. A strange sensation began to build in my shoulders, only to suddenly race down my spine like a shiver. I had seen stronger magic before, very different from what I was witnessing now. "This volume contains a record of all creatures created by the moon goddess," Adira said, capturing my attention. She slowly waved her hand over the book, and it opened. "Those that still walk the earth, and those that do not..."

The prints look like humans, but it has a missing toe on each side. Something crept through Ejima’s stomach, making the hair on her skin stand. She had heard tales of creatures with missing toes back in the village. Her uncle had told her scary stories of how these creatures offended the gods and were destroyed from the surface of the earth. Every story she had heard always painted the missing toe creatures like some mystical beings that do not exist. They were said to be barbarians who fed on anything that had meat. Go back now that you have the chance. A voice warned in her head but Ejima dismissed it. She unbuckled her sling from her waist and picked out three stones from her pouch. She m

I was beyond confused now; what did an old book have to do with Clarissa? "You guys have no idea what this is, do you?" We shook our heads, waiting for Alyssa to explain. "It's a grimoire of supernatural creatures. The book was written by the Fae elders and told everything there is to know about every supernatural creature in existence... including how to kill them."

My Next Life As A Wicked Dame

My Next Life As A Wicked Dame

Teacher Fernando walk beside the window and watch the large field. The author of Illuminating Darkness has weird taste of writing history. The world building of Illuminating Darkness is kinda weird in some aspect, but lore must be quite superb dahil naging sikat itong libro. “His heart turned into the dragons; His kidneys turned into the Elves; His ears turned into beast people; His liver turned into mystical creatures; His brain turned into dwarves. and nearly spit out her food. The book was written in another language with translations on the side in English, Old English. It would take her ages to read through it. Frowning she opened the encyclopedia and breathed a sigh of relief, all English. She flipped through the pages. The creatures listed didn't appear to be in any sort of order. She landed on the witches first. Apparently they really did fly on broomsticks, but mostly for kicks. She raised a brow. "Imagine that."

Lucifer's Redemption

Lucifer's Redemption

Squeezing my legs together, I thought what a terrible idea it was to wear a skirt. Two footmen trotted to the carriage. Their body littered with scales, gills under their ears, and they continued to wave back and forth like they were breathing. Yellow eyes looked into the carriage, assessing who was here. They weren’t round like mine, but cut into slits. Their hair stood up on end like they were underwater, waving with the motion of where the current was flowing. “Mother said the creatures he creates need water. Poseidon has created an atmosphere with those with lungs or gills can live together. Muttering, ‘wow,’ and taking Luci’s hand to step out, my mind ran a mile a minute. I couldn’t wai

Great story, I’m a fan of mythology and this novel has an unique and interesting way of combining folk tales, pagan and Christian beliefs. I loved the story and the outlines of every character and it’s way of redemption/salvation.

The Price Of Fate

The Price Of Fate

Even the words felt wrong in my head, too old or too foreign or too large to settle easily. I touched the cover again, more deliberately this time, and the fact of it settled heavier in me. My mother had left me a book made from the hide of a creature I had never even heard of. Not a family ledger. Not a simple journal stitched in ordinary leather. Something crafted from a being that lived beyond the edges of what Vandwood called possible. The world was getting stranger too quickly.
