Howl of the unchosen

Howl of the unchosen

Chapter 3: Author's POV Imagine a world secluded on an icy plain, carved from the frozen wilderness of the Arctic and bordered by an ocean. Somehow, life thrived, and magic did too. Werewolf packs emerged, but humans infiltrated as well. The initial migration into werewolf territory was once deemed a problem, and the killing of outsiders ensued. This bloodshed, however, stopped when the werewolves realized they needed the humans just as much as humans needed them. Human ingenuity, vital for innovation and development, complemented the werewolves' ability to manipulate and stabilize the harsh climate. Over time, this mutual dependence forged a fragile harmony—a delicate balance between the or

THE DEVIL'S LOVE

THE DEVIL'S LOVE

The angels fought. The gods fought. And The Forgotten fought back. The sky split. The ground opened. Entire mountains vanished. The sea rose into the heavens. The dead screamed. And one by one, the creatures were dragged toward the opening beyond creation. They resisted. They clawed at the earth. They wrapped their limbs around mountains. They tore through armies. They disappeared and reappeared. But the seal continued to close. One by one, they were pulled beyond the boundaries. Some screamed. Some laughed.

The Alpha's Undoing

The Alpha's Undoing

The air grew thick with the sound of turning pages and the scent of dust they were disturbing for the first time in decades. Nate’s mind reeled as he read. The books spoke of creatures he’d only ever seen in movies. There were bestiaries detailing dragons, their scales described with metallic precision. He found genealogical charts for vampiric bloodlines and treaties on fae territories. It was a hidden history of the world, all contained in this impossible room, and he could barely believe any of it was real. The books themselves were artifacts, some dating back hundreds of years, their pages brittle and their ink faded. “So… dragons? Vampires? They’re real?” Nate breathed, his voice hushed

"But they mattered." He pulled the book free and placed it carefully into Adelaide's hands. The leather had become silky with age. Its corners had rounded smooth beneath countless fingers. When she opened it, intricate illustrations greeted her first. Towering beasts whose bodies appeared woven from living constellations. Children sailing rivers of liquid light. Cities suspended beneath enormous floating crystals. She turned another page. Then another. Every illustration became stranger than the last. "What is this place?" "A world that exists only inside someone's imagination."

The Alpha’s Girl

The Alpha’s Girl

I clenched my fists and forced my legs forward. Then the ground split open right in front of us. Black smoke exploded upward, twisting like a tornado. Out of it rose tall, bony creatures skinny, shadows with glowing red lines pulsing through them like veins. The air felt thick, hard to breathe, like their presence was squeezing my lungs. “Binders,” Ms. Joyce said, steady but sweating. “They’re tied to the book, they protect it.” One lunged straight at us. I didn’t even have time to move. Ms. Joyce slammed her staff into the earth, the ground erupted, throwing up a wall of jagged rock that smashed the creature into drifting black ash.

I’m enjoying this book, has some unexpected twists I did not see coming. But there are some inconsistencies in the storyline. The main villain was said to be stuck in his wolf form and could not change back to human form, but then in later chapters he’s fighting the male lead in human form?

Just a little bit more and I can really achieve everything that is stated there. Flashback.. "This is the book!" I jumped happily and hurried home. I read the book as soon as I arrived home, just to be surprised by what it said. "Impossible! Impossible is what you're asking for!" I talked to the book after I read that page. It was as if it could hear me. What was posted there was, "There is only one weapon that can kill and destroy the chosen one. It's not a thing but a creature. A beautiful creature that is created by the king of demons' son and a mermaid, out of love.

I let out a nervous chuckle, clearing my throat. “Well… something like that. We were hoping you might help us answer some questions about werewolves,” I replied. Professor Kira’s eyebrows shot up, a spark of intrigue glinting in her eyes. “Werewolves, you say? How interesting.” I glanced over at Lyra, signaling that it was her turn. She leaned forward. “I’ve read your book ‘The Creatures beyond us’, and I have to say, you’re a phenomenal writer. I thoroughly enjoyed it,” she complimented, her voice brimming with admiration.

Creatures of THE Night

Creatures of THE Night

His hand snaps forward, grabbing it before it has a chance to hit the ground with a lightning speed that impresses me. She balks at him as more redness creeps up her skin and colors her pale face. There's a weird silence that passes between them and enough tension it has me shifting on my feet awkwardly. They stand still together like statues. Are either of them even breathing? I glance back over at Eva and take in her expression. She seems… surprised? In a way? I suppose I felt the same way when I'd seen Sol for the first time. We'd been told all our life demons were hideous creatures born from the lava pits in Hell and reflected as such. Not once had we considered they looked like these… b

Tears Of A Broken Omega

Tears Of A Broken Omega

I had spent more than thirty minutes just reading a single page, and it was driving me insane realizing it was only the introduction I had managed to get through. Because of how stressed I was, I found myself absentmindedly clicking the button of the device in my free hand, momentarily forgetting its actual purpose. Usually, I would have just handed this off to someone else to translate, but Ragnar wasn’t stupid. He would start asking questions. And right now, questions were the last thing I needed. So I had to deal with this myself. The book was about ancient creatures, ones that had gone extinct centuries ago. Creatures like blood wraiths, banshees, vampires, skin-walkers, and soul eaters,

Honestly, The beginning of this book didn't draw me in at first, but since I was looking for something to read, I decided to try it out anyways. Here is my honest review, to whoever wrote this book, a big kudos to you. This is a master piece. See me squealing with my feet in the air.

The Alpha Of My Dreams

It looked old and valuable, and I knew that it had to be important. I walked over to the book and opened it up, my heart racing as I read the title: "Genetics and the Possibility of Superhumans." I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The book discussed the potential for people with wolf-like abilities to exist, and the scientific methods that could be used to create them.
