The Don Regretted It Five Years After I Left

The Don Regretted It Five Years After I Left

All of that was five years ago. The pain fades. Five years later, I was done surviving the slums. Dante showed up that same afternoon. I'd just gotten Lily down for a nap when the hotel suite buzzer went off. Five years. He looked like himself, just older, like something had worn him down. “Mia.” His voice was tight. “I heard you were back.” I stayed in the doorway. I didn't invite him in. “I've been looking for you for five years.”

The Pack's Hybrids

The Pack's Hybrids

Heath wanted to be sure that they knew what they were getting into with the vampire, so taking things slow made a f-k load of sense. “We have given this five years already,” Rhett propped himself up on his elbow, setting up for an argument. “Five f-king miserable years, Heath.” “Not all of it has been miserable, we’ve had good times,” Cameron said quietly, trying to sooth Rhett before things got out of hand.

If you're looking for a story about an incel that gets their just desserts, this is the book for you! I haven't read a book in this series yet that doesn't deliver an emotional punch in the worst and best ways.
Dawn
That’s the end of the 4th book in the series. Can’t wait for the next book “the rebels”. This has been a fantastic series & though the book spends a lot of time going back & forth into the past & present it allows for those who have not read the whole series so far to keep up. Well done Everleigh xx

Used By My Husband; Desired By His Son

Used By My Husband; Desired By His Son

Jayden’s POV I already knew that the day had started wrong as soon as I stepped into my office building. “Goodmorning, Mr. Jayden,” someone said as I passed. I nodded without really looking at who greeted me“Morning.” But there was nothing “morning” about this day. The Five-Year City Project. That was all everyone had been talking about for weeks. It was the kind of project that only came once every five years in New York. The project was going to give big money and bigger expectations. The kind of project that could either push the company to the top or ruin everything we had built.

Rejected Luna: Mated to my Alpha Brother

Rejected Luna: Mated to my Alpha Brother

~EVA~ Five years. I keep thinking about that number because it genuinely does not feel like five years, it feels like we blinked and suddenly we have a five year old daughter who argues with her father about everything and a two year old son who has already figured out that smiling at people gets him whatever he wants, and somehow this became my life, and I am still getting used to how good it feels.

Twisted Obsession: The Billionaires Virgin Bride

Twisted Obsession: The Billionaires Virgin Bride

DANTE “I don’t know,” I whisper. “I don’t know how to tell the difference anymore.” “Then let me help you.” My mother’s voice is soft. “Close your eyes. Picture your life in five years. Really, picture it. Where are you? What are you doing? Who’s beside you?” I close my eyes. Five years from now, I’m standing in this same penthouse. The city spreads out below me, glittering and cold. I’ve just closed another billion-dollar deal. The board is thrilled. Shareholders are happy. The empire is secure.

HIS ONE NIGHT, MY FOREVER

HIS ONE NIGHT, MY FOREVER

"But what about show-and-tell?" "We'll do our own show-and-tell. You can show me your space book and tell me all about it. Would that be okay?" He considered this, then nodded slowly. "Okay." "Why don't you go set it up in the living room? I'll be right there." As soon as he disappeared, I sank against the kitchen counter, pressing my palms against my eyes. Five years old. They expelled a five-year-old boy because his mother dared to exist in Sebastian Blackwell’s life.

I Married His Enemy: Return Of The Forgotten Princess

I Married His Enemy: Return Of The Forgotten Princess

FIVE YEARS LATER! Five years had passed since the blood had soaked the floors, since screams had echoed through burning halls, since death had been so close it had brushed against their skin and whispered promises no one had wanted to hear. Five years since Eliana’s schemes had finally crumbled, since Raymond’s cruelty had met its long-overdue end, and since Rachael’s tragic death had slammed the final door on a chapter that none of them, not a single soul, ever wished to reopen again.

Five Years Together, Three Years Married… to Him

Five Years Together, Three Years Married… to Him

In the five years we were together, we had never gone more than a week without seeing each other. After a few months of no contact, seeing her again made it feel like a lifetime had passed. Only this time, I didn't feel that heart-fluttering warmth. Nothing remained except a sense of calm. It was crazy to think that all the love and time we had spent together during the last five years could simply vanish in a few short months. The group around us, who had just fallen silent because of what I said, immediately began whispering, "Looks like the couple's having a bit of a spat."

Five Years of Silence

Five Years of Silence

He ignored the pressure from two Alphas bearing down on him and shouted at the top of his lungs, "I’m telling the truth! Wren left me five years ago, and she was already pregnant! That pup over there? He’s mine! The timeline fits perfectly! What, do you all think I’m blind?" His voice rose higher, thick with accusation. "Alpha Nolan, are you really okay with this? Raising another’s pup like your own?" I laughed. At first, it was a low chuckle, but it grew louder and louder until tears welled up at the corners of my eyes. "Oh, Aiden," I said, voice edged with scorn. "You’re still the same arrogant, delusional fool. You really don’t know, do you? That child you’ve been dreaming of, the one you

Waking Up From A 5-Year Dream

Waking Up From A 5-Year Dream

—Tracy. Beneath the caption was a video link. His hands trembled as he clicked it open. The screen filled with the image of me, painting. It was a step-by-step chronicle, from the initial pencil sketch to the meticulous finishing touches. Each stroke carried the weight of dedication and love. The version of me in the video smiled softly as I spoke to the camera. "This is my fifth-anniversary gift for my husband. Dennis Malcolm, thank you for staying by my side."
