“Just listen okay” I pushed the buttons of the elevator aggressively. Damn, I was raging with anger. I stepped into the elevator and turning around, I see Steve coming over quickly with the filthy woman behind him. It was then I realized, it was his fucking secretary, Sandra. I prayed silently admits my tears that the elevator doors close before he caught up to me and they did. Tears streamed down my face as flashbacks of the scene replayed in my head. I wanted more kisses! “Work hard, Miss Lopez.” He grabbed his coffee and left the room. I could tell that I was soaking for him and it was exhausting that I couldn’t do anything with him for the next two weeks. I hated it.

A sharp inhale, her eyes widening as if I’d just said something completely unreasonable. “You’re firing me?” she asked, her voice rising. “Cherry, that’s excessive—” “I love you,” I cut in, softer but steady. “I do. But I’m tired. Tired of having to argue every single point with you,” I continued. “Tired of you making decisions for me that I never agreed to. I'm tired of being overworked.” I shook my head slightly, the frustration settling deeper. “I need a manager who won’t blow up her marriage over a sponsorship I was never going to accept in the first place. I don’t even understand why you did it,” I admitted. “But I’m done being dragged into it.”

I quickly called my manager. He soon rushed into the room. "I want you to get Adrian from the restaurant in the mall fired. NOW!" I all but yelled. He quickly mumbled a 'yes sir' and left. I was still boiling inside. I did not like the way he was looking at MY GIRL. MY LOVE. SHE IS MINE. ALL MINE. Wait what am I saying? I am going to get married to Olivia. How can I call her mine?
