Trades And Orgasms

Trades And Orgasms

Could I really see myself dating a guy who is quite a lot older than me and seems to exist in a completely different world to my own? I ponder my thoughts as I find my way back to the windows of the front room, approaching the glass and leaning my forehead against it to see how high up we are. I've never really been afraid of heights, and the view is too spectacular for me to care even if I was. The view feels as though you are flying over London in a helicopter; completely undisturbed, perhaps on a clearer day you would be able to see more of the countryside beyond the city limits. Hearing footsteps behind me, I turn to see Rhodes reenter the room and shove his phone back into his pocket.

Hellbound To The Beast Alpha

He knew that he was against everybody. After leaving the room, Everest came to see Taggart. He just called Damian. Once Taggart saw him, Everest only nodded as his task was done. A Sky-High Lesson: Manners at 30,000 Feet

A Sky-High Lesson: Manners at 30,000 Feet

There were no more lies or betrayals around me, only loyal subordinates and like-minded friends. My phone chimed again. This time, it was a message from my best friend. "Caitlyn, want to go to the newly opened world-renowned restaurant tonight? I heard the head chef is super handsome!" I looked out the window at the azure sky. A silver-white airplane flew across the horizon, leaving a beautiful arc in its wake. I smiled and replied, "Let's go."

The Test Score Above My Head

The Test Score Above My Head

When it hit 1000, it flashed a violent, warning red. Pure adrenaline shot through me. I slammed my books shut, grabbed my stuff, and booked it to an all-night bar downtown. I didn't breathe easy until I saw the number climb back to 1530 on the reflection in my phone. And right on cue, my sister noticed it, too. On the surveillance feed, she looked unbearably smug. "I knew that idiot would fall for it. She's probably out partying right now, thrilled that her score is going up from slacking off. She actually thinks she's going to score a 1530. That's my score!"

Feral on the Ice

Feral on the Ice

The Macro-City: The Heights of Sector 1 They emerged on the other side, collapsing onto a rain-slicked rooftop in the high-rent district of Sector 1. The contrast was staggering. Here, the air was scented with artificial jasmine, and the "Giants" walked past with glowing neural-links, oblivious to the fact that a few blocks away, a million souls were being choked out of existence.

His velvet obsession

His velvet obsession

The nickname felt like a confession on my tongue one I wasn't ready to make, but one she needed to hear so she knew exactly who held her leash now. "You’re trembling... Velvet." The way she flinched at the name satisfied me and sickened me all at once. She remembered. "We’re here," I snapped, the SUV slowing as the massive iron gates of the Heights ground open. "Welcome home." The wind up here is different from the usually Georgia cold. I stood on the landing, my lungs burning from the ascent, listening to the faint, metallic ring of the skirmish below. My own men. Men I paid, men I fed, now clawing at each other like rabid dogs because they were too afraid to follow me into the clouds. C

There's a dark elegance to this story that pulled me in instantly. The tension, the secrets, and the unanswered questions make it impossible to stop reading. Xavier is definitely hiding something, and I need to know what it is.

The Wolf Who Forgot Me

The Wolf Who Forgot Me

“When I can’t think clearly inside. The height helps.” “I’ve heard that about you,” I said. And then I heard what I’d said and I added quickly, “About Alphas generally. That the height helps.” He glanced at me sideways. He didn’t push it. “The mountain looks different from up here,” I said. “It does.” He looked back at it. “From the ground it’s just large. From up here you can see the shape of it properly.” The city below us made its night sounds. A siren somewhere very far off. The low constant hum of things running that always ran. A plane, tiny and slow, crossing the sky to the east with its lights blinking.

The Wife He Couldn't Erase

The Wife He Couldn't Erase

If you don’t go now, there won’t be a company to go back to. Ashworth Height loomed over the skyline like it had been built to remind people like me how small they were. Twice the height of Cross Industries. Twice the glass. Twice the arrogance. I’d driven past it a hundred times on my way to meetings I thought mattered. Never once had I stepped inside. I parked in the visitor lot and sat there for a full minute, fingers tight on the steering wheel. You’re Adrian Cross. You don’t beg. Right. And Adrian Cross also doesn’t have his company bleeding money.

The Revenge of the Underboss’s Bride

The Revenge of the Underboss’s Bride

“You want every door to be yours. That is how they keep writing notes to you.” Carmine tapped the chair. “Not sister. Not roof. Office.” “What office?” I asked. Carmine’s mouth fought. “Glasses. Home. Heights. You followed box. Fourth floor. Company name.” The Brooklyn Heights building. Glass and something. We had stood on that sidewalk and talked to her like the night was a negotiation. Vincent was already on his feet. “If she is on a roof at midnight she is not in Heights at eleven.” “That is the first clean sentence in an hour,” I said.

ABOVE ALL

ABOVE ALL

it's crazy how she makes me happy with only a simple smile. I'm going to buy two more tickets so that we can reach a higher height in the Nacelle of the CN TOWER. Seems to be one of the tallest observation decks in the world. I invite Tiara to enter the elevator who leaves us from the Belvedere up to 33 floors higher. The Earth seems to disappear as we go up. Arrived there, I smile at her and she looks at me curiously. " So...what are we doing now?" She asked me

The book has potential but needs major editing. I, myself is not so good in English too but I still write. The trick is knowing how to use simple words and research a lot..good luck with your work😇😇😇.

While the writing might need some editing, one cannot deny that the author is a gifted storyteller. She writes in a way that you can feel the main character, Tiara's anguish when she chooses her father over her mother and brother. Am definitely going to add this to my library.
