“Good,” I said cheerfully. “We’re doing it for your benefit.”
“I am not interested in Lazriel,” he gritted.
“Obviously,” Orion said, eyes dancing with mischief. “But that’s what makes it so fun. You’re like a statue being serenaded by a siren. Completely immune. Totally miserable.”
“And yet… you blush,” I added sweetly.
“I don’t blush.”
