Obsessed with His Unwanted Mute Bride

Obsessed with His Unwanted Mute Bride

Her experience referenced constantly. Truth, finally spoken, was changing everything. And somewhere in that truth, justice was slowly, imperfectly, but undeniably being served. Not perfect justice. But real justice. The kind built on survivor's voices. The kind that changes the world. One testimony at a time.

Legally Bound

Legally Bound

A sound escaped the older man; half sob, half prayer. Alex stayed seated. He felt it settle into him slowly not triumph, not celebration, but something quieter and heavier. Relief. Validation. Justice, finally catching up. As the courtroom emptied, reporters surged forward, voices overlapping. “Mr. Cromwell” “Alex, was this personal” “Do you think this exposes systemic failures” Alex walked past them at first, eyes forward. Then he stopped. He turned back and pointed to one reporter. “Justice,” Alex said evenly, “doesn’t fail loudly. It fails quietly. And when it does, people disappear into systems that stop seeing them as human.”

The Darling of the Paranoid Tycoon

The Darling of the Paranoid Tycoon

The reporter cleared his throat, trying to redirect the topic. "These are the evidence sent to me by the anonymous whistleblower. The injuries suffered by these two people are shocking, and one of them may have suffered psychological trauma as well," he said. "And just now, Ms. Munoz resorted to violence and threatened someone. Is there no justice or law anymore?" He raised his right arm and clenched his fist. He was trying to stir up the emotions of the reporters present and the national audience. "We need to seek justice for these four people," he added.

Wrong Way Up

Wrong Way Up

I had never been so disappointed with the justice system as I was today. As I climbed in my car, I could not stop the sobs that erupted from my chest. I sobbed for the woman that I would never be again, the one that could trust and fall in love easily. I sobbed for every woman that had ever been physically hurt by a man that she had once loved and trusted. My tears ran freely for the innocence that was stolen from the children that had to see a grown man attack a woman who did nothing wrong. I sobbed for the realization that fairy tales did not exist in real life. I cried for the little girls dreams that would one day turn into nightmares. I cried out for the injustice of all of it.

There's a phrase, right in the initial chapters, where Noel says she is not old, but is too old to start again. That really got to me, because even now we are taught that. We need more diversity in our female characters, so thanks for writing this.

I absolutely love this book, It has so much depth and it's not all sunshine and roses which makes It that much more real. Hoping it will be finished soon! And if it's by any chance based on a true story, Noel is strong and amazing and worthy of love and happiness, hope she never believes otherwise!

Love In The Underworld

Love In The Underworld

But they knew that the work was far from over, and they were determined to continue weaving the tapestry of a more just and equitable world. Embracing the power of storytelling, the torchbearers sought to amplify the voices of those who had been silenced by injustice. They recognized that stories had the ability to bridge divides, cultivate empathy, and inspire action. Through partnerships with artists, writers, and filmmakers, they embarked on a bold project—a global multimedia campaign that would harness the power of storytelling to ignite hearts and minds.

’ Anderson thought and unconsciously patted his bag. Next, after the setting was provided, he would tell his stories, but he needed to survive. That part was difficult to understand. Did it mean he would be stopped from telling the story? Would he be hunted down? He tried hard to not think about the guns in his duffle bag so as to not give them away. He had to be ready for anything.

Claimed by My Bestie's Alpha Daddy

Claimed by My Bestie's Alpha Daddy

Children sleeping three to a cot while I moved between wings with polished tile beneath my boots. David’s mother had been seen washing her hair with bottled water in a parking lot, someone said. Another woman whispered that a teenage boy in the refugee camps had passed out from heatstroke. People clung to stories like that, because it made the injustice feel real, concrete, and personal. And me, I was becoming the face of that contrast, no matter how many storage rooms I reorganized. It didn’t matter that I was working. The optics were already a battle we were losing.

Justice in Bloodlust

Justice in Bloodlust

He turned to me, "Baby, is there a problem?" My face filled with heat at his words. Baby? Are you kidding me? Though I do like the way it sounds when he says it. His arm slipped around my waist as he waited for my response. "Umm, I was just trying to explain to him why I need today off..." my voice cracked with emotion, "But he didn't want to listen." "That's not true," Trey stuttered, "Don't lie. I was listening." Niko raised his hand, effectively shutting Trey up, "So here's the thing," he told him with a glare, "Justice will not be working today or any day for at least the next two weeks...maybe longer. Understand?"

FRAMED FOR MURDER WHILE PREGNANT: NOW I'M THE MAFIA'S WIFE

FRAMED FOR MURDER WHILE PREGNANT: NOW I'M THE MAFIA'S WIFE

Any one of those links breaks and the chain doesn't hold. Every one of them held. I thought about what it meant to build something on a foundation of other people's choices made in the dark, under duress, with incomplete information, for mixed and complicated reasons. The way that those choices accumulated into something none of the individual choosers could have imagined. The particular kind of justice that is built not from a single heroic act but from a long series of imperfect decisions made by imperfect people who did what they could with what they had. It was not a clean story. It had never been a clean story.
